Wonderart Latch-Hook Kit, Moonlight Meow, 15" X 20"

I finished making this latch hook kit yesterday and I think it turned out very nicely. There was plenty of yarn to complete the project with a fair amount left over, so I don't think anybody will run out as long as they don't lose a lot of yarn.I only have a few small complaints. I had a bit of trouble separating the "cream" yarn from the "white" yarn, which was made more difficult because the cream yarn strands were mixed into the white yarn strands (whereas the other colors were generally in separate clumps). I recommend separating the yarn under a bright light before using it.Also the printed pattern on my canvas was tilted a little bit so I had trouble determining which row to start at, and it was a little difficult telling some of the colors apart on the canvas (for example pink and orange squares looked almost the same to me).I relied mainly upon the pattern in the instruction manual which clearly laid out the colors for each square. I kind of counted it out in half-row segments, laying out the yarn in the order that I would need it before attaching the yarn onto the canvas. After I finished, I turned it into a wall-hanging and it looks very nice.The preview image is pretty much what it will look like when it's finished (although it's up to you whether to turn it into a wall-hanging, pillow, etc.). If you like the image and are willing to refer to the diagram instead of relying on the canvas then I think you'll be pleased with the result.

The gridded canvas included in the Latch Hook Wonderart Kit does not meet the requirements to finish Moonlight Meow - #426122 correctly as there is not enough edging to finish the project as indicated in your "How to finish" the Moonlight meow once all hooking is done. Would very much appreciate the proper size of gridded canvas be sent as indicated in your Finishing video. Thank you. Really disappointed in gridded canvas included in my Kit. You have very good video's to help us get started. Thank you.

Be aware this kit does not come with the latch hook tool and does not have the pattern printed on the canvas. We will still try to do it, but it seems like there should be a latch hook tool in something for this price (or clear indication that it does not have one). For the ~30 dollars one would also think it could have the pattern printed on the mesh.

This came out great in the end but it definitely takes some work to get there! The pattern is printed crooked so as you progress down the pattern you have to start counting the squares on the paper pattern and on the latch hook rug to insure that you're putting the correct yarn color where it really belongs. I used the crossing out method on the paper pattern for each one that I had put in correctly so that I didn't lose my place. It took me about three times as long as it normally should have but the results were definitely worth it.

Latch hook kit is nice however it did not come with the latch hook! I feel a latch hook should be included in a "latch hook" kit! I had to go get one from Hobby Lobby

The media could not be loaded.  So far so good? The only thing I don’t like is the paper grid; the colors are har to see, and count the squares.I know I’ll get it, but the paper grid color could be improved for better visual instruction.UPDATE: Finished! Challenging, and fun!

The description for this item says that the image is stamped onto the mesh. I specifically bought this item because of that description. Before even opening the packaging, you can clearly see the mesh through the package window, and there is no image stamped on the mesh, just the grid. Unfortunately, this was a gift for a person who requested the image imprint and this will not work. Otherwise, the package arrived nicely and on time. I didn't open the product packaging so I cannot comment on the materials inside.
