Update and a Question- I had to stop using for a week due to international travel. I didn't take iHelmet as I didn't want to risk it being taken away by security. My hair did not resume shedding. I started use again last night. I would love some guidance on long term use. Should I keep using it every other day indefinitely, or once hair stops shedding should use be suspended and only started again if shedding starts again?I’ve only been using this for about 3 weeks and my hair has almost completely stopped shedding. My hair has been thinking for years but for the past couple month the shedding was so bad I thought I might go bald if it didn’t stop. Nothing topical was working. I’m so relieved the shedding has stopped. Really hoping it continues to work and my hair starts growing and getting a little thicker.

I noticed no difference on this one. While I think it has better quality light therapy than a lot of the junky ones out there that are just colored LEDs, and it is FDA-approved, I don't know that I would pay this much for it. It is easy to wear but those with bigger heads may not find it comfortable to wear. Prompts you when the session begins.I think before investing in something like this you need to be sure that your skin and hair loss would be something that might actually benefit from this kind of therapy or it may be a disappointment. For me, I have hormonal hair loss and while some people have found therapy to help that, it did nothing for me.

I have high hopes for this device, although it will be months before I will see any results. It certainly is easy to use, and it only requires 30 minutes a day to get results. I like that it is simple, comfortable and cordless. It is completely painless and I don't feel anything at all when I use it.Unlike other hair growth helmets, it does not have led lights, which have no effect on hair growth anyway. It only has the laser lights that can help regrow hair. I notice some other devices advertise 220 lights, but they do not differentiate between leds and laser lights, so I suspect they are mostly led lights.You might want to check that your skin color and hair loss pattern is compatible with this device as it has parameters of effectiveness.Overall, it seems to be good quality, well-designed and lightweight. I am eager to see if I get results.

I have been useing the helmet religiously for about 3 months. I haven't noticed any new hair growth yet. I know that my hair is very frizzy now in front. I'm still losing a bunch of hair down the drain.

I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks.This Helmet needs 6 months plus in order to tell if it works or not.I am unable to tell the results yet.It is lightweight.It is super easy to use.It is comfortable.It uses MicroUSB to charge.It doesn’t need any installations.Long press the power button to turn it on, put it on my head.It will start treatment right away. There will be a computer sound speaking 30 minutes treatment starting now.I use it every night after I got off the work, as I sat in front of my computer and starting to play WOW. This goes on my head, after treatment is over, take it off. Absolutely no hassles.Love the fact that it was FDA cleared.I will come back after 6 months later to tell if this works or not.Currently it is great! No complaints.

My hair has been thinning and receding for years so I was crossing my fingers that this device would not be another "quack " one and that it would help combat what getting older is doing to my head. I don't think I will get the full effects for many more months but I am starting to tell a difference. It's simple to use, and it only takes 30 minutes per day to see benefits. It is entirely painless, and I experience no discomfort when I use it. It feels so light that once I start watching tv I don't even notice it on anymore. It has laser lights that can aid in hair regenerate.I like that the FDA cleared this so it must have been tested. The helmet uses a microusb to charge it and from the get go it is very easy to use. To be sure I would suggest checking to make sure this is compatible with your skin tone.

This is one of those items that take time to actually tell if they work. Also being consistent is another factor and key to seeing results for basically anything you do. So for now I give this 5*.I will have to return to update this a bit further down the road for the “effective” factor.
