Welp. These babies definitely saved me. Worth it!
Went snowboarding last week in Colorado with these. I heard about all of the stories and didn't want to risk injuring myself. These babies protected me nicely. Many times I felt like I definitely would have hurt myself if I hadn't had these. Side story, my friend snapped her wrist while we were in Colorado. Would not have happened if she had these! While we waited in the infirmary for her bones to get set back into place, there were so many kids walking back and forth with casts/injured wrists. The dangers from snowboarding/sports is no joke. Take the risk if you're a daredevil, but trust me, 70$ is worth it.

Great Add-on for Learning Snowboarding
Bought these because my friend swear by them and now I'm, too. Wore them in the recent snowboarding trip and it worked really well. I had doubt at first about whether it would slide and failed to absorb the pressure but it never happened. Highly recommend for beginners or people who might suffer from overuse of wrists.

Single sided version is probably better for snowboarding
Great wrist guards. Very solid, great protection. Probably more than most need for snowboarding - make getting gloves on and off very difficult and need to significantly size up on gloves you buy. They are great protection, but I think better suited for skateboarding, in-line skate etc. because of bulk to fit under gloves. I returned them and got single sided ones instead.

Great wrist guards
Great wrist guards. Fit perfectly under my gloves but you might want to pick up a larger pair if you need room. These are one of the best you can get. Single sided is all you need for snowboarding. I've gone down a lot using these and so far no breaks.

Best design I've found!
Most braces deflect the force of a fall further up the arm. This at the very least strains the triceps in catching a fall. These guards actually arrest the force in a flexible construction similar to that of a car bumper. The metal puck at the base of the palm is an absolute must for anyone worried about breaking their scaphoid (again, or a 3rd time). You can risk months in a cast and the ridicule of your orthopedist, or just stay protected.

Defective, disapointed with quality..
Received the single sided flexmeter wrist guards in the mail today. I had high hopes for this product but was really disappointed with the quality of this wrist guard, especially considering the premium price. Right out of the bag the left hand plastic guard had a major hairline fracture right at the flexing ridges near the wrist. In the picture I'm pushing up against it to show you how this would definitely not protect your wrists in a fall! Obviously this one was defective, again just pretty disapointed about the overall quality here. I feel like these guards would not survive multiple hard bails at the hill.. Was really hoping to use these at the ski hill tonight too. Alot of snowboard forums recommended this product but I don't think its worth the price. I Hope seller is good about refunds!
