Handy packet for my needs. Buckles were of good quality for making an extension strap I needed.

I put these to a non-standard use by replacing my metal patio swing seats as a quasi-web support for new cushions. There is enough webbing and buckles for two seats with 5 tight straps each.

The d-rings are light duty. My 70lb dog, who doesn't pull or tug broke the d-ring on a collar I made for him the second time I had him tied out. The buckles seem heavy enough but I wouldn't recommend this as a tie out for restraint for heavy pullers, reactive dogs, or escape artists as it will fail. Luckily my dog is well behaved and when it popped off he just sat there until I noticed.

I had a strap fail for my overhead kayak hoist. Fortunately I had a rope tied on to the kayak for back up so it didn't fall onto my pickup hood directly below it, if the original hoist strap failed (which it did). This kit comes with enough material that I can put new straps on when I need to.

The buckles are great. I didn’t really need the black strap, since I’m using a dark brown. I will hoard the strap for a future project, or for my heirs to sort through.I really like the metal D rings.

The price was right but it’s not the greatest strap/buckle set I’ve owned. It does not hold as tight as others but it could be just the webbing that came with it or it could be my application.

Make sure you get off on the right foot and look at the somple instructions. If you do that the whole process is simple and secure.

I found the strap webbing to be a little too thin but I can use them on little belt bags that I make. Overall a very good value.
