Worked 100% out of the box
Originally purchased a lower priced HDMI extender that I was unable to get to work. After extensive testing, I determined that the unit was defective and returned it. Again tried to purchase a lower priced extender and ended up with the exact same performance. But, unwilling to give up, I purchased this extender and it worked perfectly right out of the box. The additional cost for this item is well worth it.
