This thing discharged a 4s 5200mah in 30 mins! That's great! Compared to my lipo charger even at full power with a dc power supply. I received a Dead ORI M4 unit at first. Shipping Package was damaged perhaps. The Seller made sure I had another directly within a few weeks.This balance Discharges unlike most other Lithium Polymer Dischargers. It will notify you of a failing Cell while it discharges. The corresponding bad cell number will flash at the end of the discharge cycle.Simple to operate. Great customer support. Always responds to emails immediately.I was able to balance discharge a Fully charged 6000 mAh 6S lipo in under 35 minutes. It runs cool and shuts off when it is finished. Very nice product. Well designed and built. Good workmanship. I also have an ISDT FD 200 discharger, but it doesnt balance the cells as it discharges. I prefer keeping my lipo cells balanced whether discharged or charged. They last much longer and perform much better. This is a must have tool to take care of expensive Lipo batteries. Letting Lipo packs sit around for several days and longer fully charged and unused ruins the cells. Cells should be discharged to 3.85-3.8volts during storage when unused. They will last much much longer. The internal resistance of each cell remains lower and stable which is important with Lipo Chemistry and cell longevity. We all have Lipo's that we charge, then for unplanned reasons we don't get to use them at times. So they must be discharged to a storage state within 24 hours.I highly recommend this well engineered Ori M4 a12 Discharger. IMHO, customer support ranks high among the many sellers here on Amazon.

There is normally no need to balance cells when discharging to storage but if you do want to do so this discharger is good and very accurate. For example to balance the pack before putting into very long term storage. Other dischargers of this type such as the iSDT FD200 and SkyRC BD200 normally only sense total pack voltage not individual cells. The only real equivalent to this one that I am aware of is the Hyperion Sentry which does have a higher claimed discharge capacity but in practice this is not achieved.The display on this is nice and large but it would be nice to be able to adjust the contrast as it can be a bit hard to read. The balance plug socket was a bit hard to align on a couple of my packs as well.Simple as, though. Plug in your pack, push the button and go make a coffee while it discharges the pack to a VERY accurate 3.85v/cell. Fan control is sophisticated and it ramps up as the discharge commences.John

Best LiPo discharger I have ever used. Simple to use. Balances cells too. Very quick. Forget blue tooth dischargers especially ones that don’t balance the cells. This is the one to get. Always gets it to 50%. I use so often now (because I tend to charge more batteries than I use) that I got some 2 to 6S balance boards with JST-XH connectors to save the pins on the discharger.

I've decided to get two of these. I also owe two SkyRC BD200 discharges. The reason why I decided to go with these is because of the ease of use. Just plug in the main leads, the balance cable, press a button and forget about it. This discharger will discharge the battery to about 3.85v/cell which is storage voltage for a lipo and shut down after a bit of cooling off on its own. That's just what I needed. Easy! Rating these four stars because one of the discharges was defective and the cooling fan never came on. It got scorching hot and I had to unplug it. On the other discharger, the cooling fan came on after about 37~40 seconds and stayed on the entire time, keeping the device cool. I exchanged the defective discharger and everything is great now! Good item!
