British designed Cordless Kettle - Black and Stainless Steel-TT - KT803UK

I have only had this for a short time, so I cannot speak to its durability, but otherwise it seems great: fast boiler, not at all noisy, pours well without spitting or dribbling and being slightly shorter and fatter compared to the competition, it has a good balance and is comfortable to lift. It is lighter than its glass equivalents, and the ribbed plastic outer casing keeps it hotter longer. Overall feels sturdy.Only very slight drawback is that only the press button is lit up so it is difficult to gauge how full the kettle is looking at the viewing chamber. However, if you shake it slightly, the water level is easy to spot. But would have been a lot easier if the light had gone up the side as well. So 4.9895 stars...And finally, it looks great. Fabulous design, especially the lid. Great British model (even if it ended up being put together in China).Performs well, handles well, looks and feels luscious - for under £20 it is a steal.

I don't normally write reviews but I'm really impressed with my new kettle. It only came today so only just started using it but so far so good. It looks great, is lightweight, holds a lot and most importantly....it's so quiet! I would definitely recommend. Just a note...the black ridged area on the outside is plastic, which wasn't clear on the description in case you're wondering. 10/10

When my last super complicated, milti temperature kettle croaked to a halt, I decided to buy a simpler one. Less to go wrong?I have only been using this for a week, but I like this kettle. Broad base, simple on/off switch, good temperature cut out, quick to boil and reasonably priced. Looks nice as well.Not keen on the water level indicator though - difficult to read and poorly positioned. It loses a star for that.How reliable this might be I cannot yet tell; if there are problems, I will be back to amend this review. But for now, it makes a decent pot of tea.

I really like the look of this kettle, it appears to be well built, and the fact that it is stainless steel is a plus for me. (the external black part is plastic)It boils quickly and fairly quietly and pours well without a single drip!(Previous plastic kettles I've owned all seem to drip when pouring.)The water guage isn't the easiest to see being behind the handle, but anywhere else and it would detract from this kettles' good looks.I've had this kettle now for about 6 weeks and so far I'm very happy with it and glad I chose it.

Good sized stainless steel kettle - no plastic inside and looks stylish. Excellent price for the quality, bought to replace a far more expensive faulty kettle and I'm much happier with this one.Only had it a couple of days, but barring any problems in the future I would definitely recommend.

Followed the initial cleaning instructions. Ended up with boiling water all over the counter and on the kettle base. Returned!
