Absolutely love my new rails. Very sturdy and look great. Now getting in and out of the pool is a breeze without the fear of falling. Easy install took only 45 minutes and they give you all the attaching hardware and tools to get it done. Only thing I added was 5200 sealant but I put that on everything that's near water. Never let me down yet. The blue covers are perfect for the Florida heat so no more burnt hands and the rubber underside makes them stay in place when grabbed. So far so good. Great addition.

Installed it at my Mothers pool and it's as solid as a rock. Obviously I switched out the hardware and you should also, handle pad offers slip resistance and doesn't burn mom in the florida heat, perfect length as you can see in the image, helps her get out of the pool with no issues so very functional, typical stainless steel not sure if it'll rust and installed it within 15 mins with my 10 year old. Definitely get a hammer drill to install if you're drilling in concrete.

Took me less than 10 minutes to install. Used my own socket though. Wrench that comes with it seemed a bit cheesy. But went up easily and quickly Rapunzel

It showed up well packed, foam around all the railing to prevent scratching. Heavy and sturdy, it looks like good stainless steel (I will check back later if this "rusts" as others have mentioned). Drill bit provided, that's good. Odd size, just a bit larger than 3/8, smaller than 7/16. I installed it in concrete with a hammer drill--after one hole the drill bit was shot (see photo). After that, I used a 1/8 concrete bit, followed by a 3/8 concrete bit, then used the provided one to finish sizing. Even with that, the expansion tubes required banging in with a hammer. Tip: measure the distance between the holes EXACTLY. The bolts are very tight if the holes are off slightly. I added some WD-40 to ease them in, using a socket wrench, turning slowly to prevent twisting off the bolt head. No way was the provided open end wrench going to work. Once in, it feels very solid. Hopefully it will last in the summer heat. The instructions (see photo) page provided was really just a parts list. UPDATE 7/19/23: Two additional photos. The "rust" showed up--although it wasn't rust. It's almost as if some substance "bled" out from the railing. The first photo (labeled) shows it "dirty", the second after I took a Dobie and some dish detergent to it. Not significant in my opinion--so far. UPDATE Aug. 2024. The protective cover to reduce the temperature of the railing has rotted, no doubt due to sun exposure. See photo.

Ordered this for our inground pool and we love it. It makes it so much easier to walk up the four steps out of the pool. Can't understand why we waited 30 years to buy one. Highly recommend.

Looks and feels solid. I was hesitant to install it myself so I hired my contractor friend. His power tools are better than mine. He recommended not to install it too close to the edge as it could damage the pool concrete edge. I recommend this product and having a pro to install it if your not confident.

Very well made and heavy enough. Biggest problem was the drill bit supplied. Not strong enough to drill the holes into our pavers. Tried asking in 'questions' what size drill bit to get, as the directions say NOTHING of the size. Even brought it to Lowes (no help at all). Ended up at HD who gave me a 1/2" bit which worked fine but it was a tad too big and we had to used glue in the end to be sure it held. Install took long due to the drilling but once done, it seems solid and will last (hopefully). It's been installed for almost 2 months and haven't had any rust spost yet like some have mentioned. The railing cover has already faded, but we're in FL so that's a given. It serves the purpose and we are very happy with it. Would highly recommend but do buy a better bit and the seller really needs to list the size of the bit for information.

While the base plate is shown as attached to the handrail in the product picture, it is not shipped that way. The base plate must be attached using hex head screws that are already screwed into the handrail. The supplied hex key stripped the screws right away, and required nearly an hour to remove, and then to fasten the base plates to the handrail. If the handrail had been attached to the base plate as shown, installation would have taken 30 minutes at the most. (this gets 1 reluctant star, otherwise, I cannot post the review)

Pool handrails received on the date promised. The rails were of excellent quality, along with all the accessories required for installation.

We bought an inground fibreglass pool with a tanning ledge. First time my husband stepped into pool he slipped on the slippery ledge and fell and hit his tailbone hard. We decided to get a hand rail to put at the entrance of pool steps next to tanning ledge. Was easy to install in concrete and works well and is sturdy. (By the way we are getting pool company to stamp the top of the ramming ledge like the stairs are to reduce the slippery batttub feel but still look great on the tanning ledge because we love our tanning ledge!) so happy pool will be fixed up to reduce slippery mess and the tail is important as well for safety.
