Super Bright
I bought this set to replace a set that had been given as a gift many years ago. The smaller light in the original set had been really abused by weather (lost outside) for a while and even then it worked for a long time and was never treated too gently. When it finally wasn't reliable, I bought another set because hubby liked it so much. The original larger light is still working, so now have 2 of those. I like the larger light for checking my chickens' eggs for cracks because it is so bright, cracks show up really well even with the brown eggs. Both lights are really bright and the large light can show the horses up in the pasture even a few hundred feet away. I have recommended them to several members of my family and friends. They are such a good light, several have gotten them.

Best Flashlight Updated Oct. 2021
UPDATED REVIEW Oct. 2021:This is 1000 lumens. I compared it with other flashlights I purchased at the same time that were definitely 1000 & 2000 lumens. However, I will be keeping it this time around. It seems like they worked out all the kinks with the modes. I don't necessarily need more than 1000 lumens. But the larger flashlight is the perfect size and has the pocket clip I desire. Best flashlight you can buy on the market in my opinion. The cool thing about both flashlights is that fully turning the light on and off uses the brightest setting. Only lightly depressing the button cycles the modes. This is definitely an important feature. I realize cycling through modes to get to the brightest mode get's real annoying over time.OLD REVIEWSo there were a lot of problems with this kit. I do have the original UltraFire flashlight so I was able to do a side by side comparison. The main reason why I am returning these is because the button and 5 modes don't work properly on both flashlights. The standard operation is every time you press the button whether it's a deep click or a light press you cycle through the modes. The deep click just turns it on and off whereas the light press cycles through with the light still on. The small light is just awful. It doesn't cycle through in order, often randomizing or skipping modes. The deep click doesn't cycle through at all, just stays on the same mode. The light press randomizes the modes. The only way I got it to work properly was to swiftly tap the button so lightly I didn't depress the rubber at all. The faintest touch got it to cycle through properly. The larger light works fine with the light press of the button, but doesn't cycle or sometimes randomizes the modes with the deep click. The batteries, oh the batteries. These are some knock off brand that are black instead of red/yellow. The length of the batteries is slightly longer than a typical 18650 battery. So they barely fit within any 18650 charger, even the one that is included. It is impossible to take them out with your fingers so use a screwdriver. They are also only 1500 mA hours versus the regular 3000 mA hours. The larger flashlight in this kit work fairly well. The light is a bit brighter or equal to the UltraFire, but that is because the lens concentrates the light into a smaller beam. So the width of your flood light is not as wide as the UltraFire, but it seems a bit brighter. The mold and manufacturing is different from the UltraFire so you can't swap out parts for repairs and this light is slightly longer. The small light is not nearly as bright as the longer flashlights because it only can hold one battery instead of two. You can not take off the lens; the head is one piece. WATCH OUT they put grease under the telescoping head, which is revealed when you zoom in and will dirty your hands. This does come with the AAA adapter and a 18650 sheath to keep 18650 batteries snug inside.

Best bang for your dollar
So this is my second purchase on this dual flash light item. I use the small one all the time. I keep it in my pocket for many hours. So on my first order the small flash light I had an issue with the square rubber piece that goes around the illuminated chip where it came loose. I warrantee it. They sent me a new one and I did not have the same issue again. I will say their customer service was pretty responsive and took care of me in a reasonable amount of time. I ended up giving my set to a friend and bought me a new one. I know it claims to be 2000 lumens and 1000 lumens but I know they are not. However they are extremely bright and the battery last for a good period of time. I work at night from time to time. My line of work has me in not well illuminated areas. I really love the smaller flash light. I don't use the large one much at all. As a matter of fact I usually take the battery out to put in the small one when the battery goes dead. So it works out great for battery life. I have 3 batteries for my small light.I highly recommend this combo pack. They are bright and have decent battery life. The lights are durable. And if you are like me just use the small flash then you'll have 3 batteries to use.Lastly because the type of battery and how quickly it discharges it will get hot. I would just be a bit mindful of it.

Bright, good value, and gets the job done.
I had bought a different brand of LED flashlight before and I was impressed with the output and usefulness. I then misplaced it and had to go shopping again. After hunting around Amazon I decided to settle on this flashlight combo. Came with a large 2 battery flashlight, a smaller 1 battery flashlight (which is the same size as my previous model flashlight). As luck would have it I did actually locate my original flashlight about an hour before these ones arrived, but at least I had something to compare it to as a result!Pros:Comes with 3 rechargeable batteries and a charger (2 batteries are used in the larger flashlight, 1 battery is used in the smaller flashlight).A big bright yellow carry bag (that in all fairness, I probably will use when camping).Compared to my original model, these are actually a bit brighter and more of a white light whereas my original model had a more blue hue.Same features as most flashlights in this category (3 beam settings, a focus adjustable beam, a strobe and an SOS signal)Cons:Only one con, but it's a niggly one. The larger flashlight has a pen type hook on it for mounding the light in your chest pocket. However that hook is about midway on the flashlight. This means that if you try hanging this flashlight from said pocket or belt hoop, it's actually top heavy and the flashlight will most likely tilt over and fall out of your pocket. The hook should either be at the bottom of the flashlight or at the top with it's orientation inverted. It's a pity because that's the only flaw that this flashlight set seems to have. All in all, I'm still very happy with this flashlight set, the quality seems good and if they ever redesign the pocket clip, or even make other products I'm interested in, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from this company again.
