Great bag!
Excellent! Great quality! Very happy fits all my needs. Spend the $$ for quality. A small % for the investments. Keep stocked if I have to emergency grab and run. Take out what I need put in smaller bag for quick range trip or take it all. Will hold a crap load of gear and weight is not an issue for it.

Great Bag!
I am not a range commando, but I do appreciate being organized when going to a shoot. I shoot competitive skeet, and have a great bag for that, so I can appreciate a good idea in developing a range bag that does it all. This is a great bag, comfortable, well organized, very good quality, good zippers, nice material, easy to get to compartments, definitely holds four pistols in their own separate pistol pouches, the pouches also have 4 separate mags pockets. Big upper compartment, for your essentials, and plenty of room for ammo. Don't need to take 4 pistols, and even more room for everything else. Very nice Bag, The only issues I can find with it are: 1. It's big, definitely bigger than I thought it was going to be. With that said, more room for stuff. It is a one bag answer to the everything bag dilemma. 2. It's Price, It's a little expensive for a backpack solution to hitting the range. That said, if you can appreciate quality, the price won't bother you as much.

Well thought out and built to last.
I’ve been through six range bags now, this being the seventh, and this pack takes the cake. It’s all I’ve wanted in a pack. It’s highly functional, easy to organize, ridged enough to stand on its own, and it’s got tons of space to lug your stuff to the range and anywhere in between. It holds four full size pistols, 1000 rds of Ammo, cleaning kit, targets, stapler, muffs, plugs, parts kit, lube, glasses, phone, what else.... you get the point. The only negative aspect of it has been the weight of it when loaded down. I absolutely love it. Thank you G Outdoors.

Know what you’re getting
This is a decent bag for what I wanted, but you need to understand what you’re getting because it offers some opportunities for disappointment. First off, the quality of the bag is very sturdy. The zippers feel great, the fabric, straps, and handles are of good quality. Functionally, it has some drawbacks to its intended design. The main one is the four pouches- they’re quite small. They clearly will not fit a 6” L-frame, it will barely fit a compact size 92FS. With magazines in the pouch as well, there’s no way you’re going to fit three medium sized handguns in the three-pouch bottom compartment. However, for my purposes that’s fine, I didn’t want the handgun storage anyway. I primarily bought this bag for the open bottom compartment, which as you can see will easily hold a standard size ammo can or a small Plano ammo box and some cans of spray paint. So it fits my needs, but if you’re planning on carrying a bunch of full size handguns in here you’re going to be disappointed. The three storage pockets on the front are rather small, and won’t fit most of the things they’re labeled for. The eye protection pouch is laughably small; anything bigger than the smallest cheapest shooting glasses will not fit. I use the top front pouch for eye protection, and it will fit 2-3 pairs. The cell phone pouch will definitely not hold any modern smartphone. The other pouches MAY hold earplugs/earbuds, a notebook, your keys, etc. Overall, it’s small- you’re not fitting a ton of stuff in there. The upper two are also semi-rigid, which is nice to keep stuff from getting crushed I suppose, but also means they won’t flex to fit larger items. The bottom pouch has an interior Velcro panel that holds some little parts trays, a small parts box, and that’s about it- a couple small tools and a compact cleaning kit is all you’re getting in there. Overall, I’d really like to see bigger compartments on the front of this bag. The left side pouches I don’t have any complaints about- they hold a 100’ tape measure and a staple gun plus staples just fine, like they’re supposed to. But that’s about all you’re fitting in there. Moving to the main compartment- also small for the size of the bag. A holster, pair of earmuffs, and a small range mat as pictured, and it’s pretty much maxed out. This is because the fourth pouch slot at the back of the main compartment eats up about 1/3 of the space in the upper part of the pack. I’d prefer to see that pouch compartment go away, and I may cut it out in the future for more room. But again, for a large pack, it’s not a lot of space. The MOLLE attachment points are pretty limited. There’s none on the front, and just a couple straps on the side, one of which is made even smaller by the zipper opening to the upper pouch compartment. I was able to fit a water bottle holder on the left side, and a small medical pouch on the pouch opening- barely. The MOLLE on the bottom compartments is useless, because the flaps open down as pictured- if you attach anything there, you won’t be able to open that compartment with the bag sitting on a flat surface. Again, I’d really like to see that upper pouch compartment go away and have a larger MOLLE panel on the sides, as well as MOLLE panels on the front middle pocket rather than a partial Velcro panel. The backpack straps are pretty robust and comfortable. I cut off the chest strap it came with, as it was excessive and in the way. I would also like to see the hip straps be removable- this is a range bag, I’m not trekking through the wilderness with it, and if you plan to there are probably much better options. They’ll likely get cut off soon as well. Having used the bag for a couple months, it works well for my purposes, but I’m not sure that you’ll be happy with it if you buy it for it’s intended purpose, which is carrying four pistols plus equipment. So it gets four stars from me, but it’s a dubious four stars. Beware of what you’re really getting here.

Great range backpack
I was going back and forth between the standard size and the tall. I decided on getting the tall as it is better to have more than enough room than not enough. When I received it, I actually thought it would be just a few inches taller. Bag is pretty stiff but will see what happens after time goes on. There are so many compartments to put/store things and it is nice that pockets are labeled but I will use them in a different manner. I love the bag and how you can organize it to your liking. It is great that the zippers where you store guns are made so that you can use locks. My only suggestion would be that they do the same for the zipper for the main top compartment. The reason being is that you can put 2 additional pistol gun cases in there (which I do) and there is no way to lock the zippers. So this backpack can hold at 6 pistols cases. Update (11/04/18): I loaded up 3 pistols in the bottom section - Beretta 92FS with 2 mags - Sig 229 with 3 mags - Sig 226 with 2 mags Putting the last 1 was a little tight but manageable. Not sure if it will be any different if all 3 had 4 mags in it.

Awesome Bag, But Will Not Fit 4 Pistols; Compartments Too Small...
I have been waiting to purchase this range bag for a long time. I was getting frustrated carrying my pistols in several pistol rugs/sleeves in a small range bag that only had 3 compartments. Upon getting the GPS bag, I have to say that quality is great!! I cannot imagine this bag wearing out anytime soon. Material and build quality are excellent. Now for the grit, I am very disappointed with the size of the compartments. The shooting glasses compartment/sleeve is too short. My shooting glasses which are Wiley-X do not fit...about 1/4 of the glasses poke out the top. My other big complaint is the pistol cases. I primarily own 9mm H&K pistols, a P30SK (compact), P30L with flashlight/laser attachment, and a VP9. It is very hard to get them into the sleeve/slot as the cases are barely wide enough for the pistols. And if you store magazines in the pistol case, you will not fit 3 pistols in the lower compartment. Essentially I only had room for 3 pistols...two in the bottom, and one up top. Are H&K pistols bigger/wider than others? I have no idea how you would fit a 1911 in there...although they are slimmer, they are longer (at least the standard sizes). Don't even thing of trying to fit a Desert Eagle 50AE... I love the setup of the bag, but wish they would have made it a little deeper to be able to fit 3 pistols across with at least two mags. And that they enlarge the shooting glasses pouch/compartment. I had to just place my glasses in the middle compartment where your ear plugs, sunglasses, and mobile phone go and upon zipping the compartment left my glasses were getting pressed in there...this compartment needs to be deeper. Forget about using the mobile phone compartment if you have a big phone like a Note 8... Overall, I will keep the bag because it fits everything I need although not as I expected. I will not be able to store 4 pistols in their cases, unless the 4th pistol is a super compact slim (single stack) frame. Well thats all I have... Its a great bag, but needs refinement in the dimensions.

Fantastic purchase.
I bought this for my husband last Christmas. Wonderful purchase he was thrilled and so surprised! It definitely gets a lot of use. And I’m happy to say it’s cheaper than the retail stores that sell the same company. If deciding between the 3 holder and the 4 holder go with the 4, it’s just a little bit bigger, but allows for more options. . After a week of hubby using it, I was happy I chose the 4 holder.

This bag will outlast you
I haven't actually used this pack for anything gun related. I converted the bottom 3 pistol holder into a cooler for work. I work 12.5hr shifts and this beast carries everything I need. I've had a couple dozen people ask about this bag. It can definitely carry a lot with no issue in the straps, seams or zippers. This bag is practically flawless. Ya expensive but you get what you pay for.
