I buy dehydrated mango at Sam's all the time. I saw this and thought I'd give it a try. This product is not good at all. I don't understand what they did but it's like eating sugar coated plastic. The texture and taste are so off compared to what we normally get. It's unnaturally orange in color and almost translate. I tried to return them and they don't accept returns. If you like the texture and flavor of real dried mango you won't like these. You have been warned. I have attached pictures of a real dried mango on the left and whatever the thing the sold me on the right that's not a natural color.

One of the best mango slices I’ve ever had in my life I don’t know why they’re so good probably because they’re coated in sugar, but besides that they’re very healthy and super good.

Tasty, not chewy like leater. Big slices of mango that you could use to decorate a cake with, add to ice cream for a beautiful presentation. They do have added sugar, but not sickening sweet. I just ordered another whopper 5# bag. Yum.

Really disappointed with this. It was really coated in sugar, some slices were huge and thick, therefor not dried well. Some slices just fell apart in your mouth. No consistency or flavor. About 1 in 6 pieces tasted like good mango should.

For the price you get a lot but they are just sooooo darn sweet I could hardly eat one. They would be good for cake decor or as a treat with other things but for snacking I would not recommend as they are full of sugar. They remind me of the orange slice candy sugar coated gummies or like gum drops. Definitely not dried fruit leather. Plus the added sulfur concerned me so I definitely would use in moderation. Good flavor, soft and a great price but just not what I was looking for.

My husband loves these mango strips. He is trying not to eat the bag too fast. I asked him to try and keep them for a month, at which time I will order more.
