As others have mentioned above, you will likely get no instructions. Check out the images posted by Scott H in his review, and you will have your phone/tablet mounted in five minutes.I got a great deal on a gently used P3S. It wouldn't be much of a limb to go out on to say this is the first thing you should get, provided you have a functional P3S with a battery. DJI *really* cheaper out with the stock phone bracket. As in it should have never been there in the first place. Absolute garbage.This bracket rectified that issue, plus allows my 8" Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 to fit perfectly. Using Scott H`s images above, I had this assembled, tablet mounted and adjusted to my preferred angle, and was flying the drone in five minutes.It is reasonably well built, especially for the price. The nylon brackets hold my tablet securely, and without scarring up the tablet. I cannot speak to the long-term durability yet, but can't imagine there will be issues - so long as the remote isn't abused.The only downside, and it is by no means the fault of the manufacturer, is that the remote will no longer fit in the case. That isn't an issue for me, as I'm installing an Argtek kit tomorrow.The purchase of this bracket should be considered a prerequisite and a no-brainer.

I was looking for a bracket that would hold my iPad 4th gen (large iPad). There are very few brackets that will expand large enough for the large iPad and this one fits great. And on the flip side (literally) there is a bracket so you can use your phone with it instead of the large tablet. I was worried about the weight of the heavy large iPad but this bracket handles it nicely. It does have a very slight wobble if you really shake the controller around, but it is really stable with normal use. I hook my lanyard into the hole on the bracket and it works very well. I also use the folding sun shade sold here on Amazon and it works good with it also. Would recommend.

I really like this mount! I think the mount itself would be 5 star, but there were a couple of small things that caused me to give it only 4. (1) there are no tools to assemble it, (2) the instuctions are a bit hard to read and will need to reference the online photo, and (3) there is a part that is a small cylinder with a hole in it, the I couldn't find this part in the instructions. With that being said, I looked at other mounts that look the same and couldn't find the part on their instruction sheet either.Now to the good parts about this mount. I read reviews and searched other mounts that require drilling a hole in the remote of the Phantom 3. I was not willing to do that. The other mounts I found were either plastic or they looked identical to this one, except they wouldn't hold an iPad mini. This one does both phones and iPad. Once assembled, it seems very sturdy, it doesn't rock around and move at all. It is much better than the mount that came with the Phantom 3.I would definitely recommend this product, but know that you might have to do a bit of tweaking to get it just right. I mention that because there is a small little cylinder with a hole in it. It's like a thick washer. I couldn't find in the instructions where this went, so I ended up putting it in the hole at the bottom of the piece that connects to the remote itself. You have the first piece that connects to the remote, then the arm connects to that. I placed the (washer?) in the bottom hole, but had to hammer it in because it didn't fit very easily. It seemed to hold the arm a little more secure that it was before I put that piece in there, so I'm happy with the placement even if it wasn't supposed to go there.The iPad mini sits up high enough that it doesn't obstruct the joy sticks either. This mount could be improved by including the hex tools to assemble it, but overall I'm happy with it!!

Exactly what I needed for my Phantom 3 Standard controller. It works really great and the holder arm doesn't flop around loose so your phone or tablet are always in the position you want it to be. It can be tilted to how you want to view your phone or tablet. The spring loaded clamp holds my phone or either my large iPad 2 or my iPad mini 4 perfect. It clamps down firm to hold my phone or tablet so I don't have to really worry about my phone or tablet falling off it. The included instructions were easy to follow. I would recommend this to anyone.

Well used twice and the screw on the clamp stripped the the thread. I was disappointed by that. I expected it to last a little longer than two uses. I'll find a longer screw that goes all the way into the thread and see if I can get more use out of it. It's not like I screwed it in too tightly. I barely turned it. Also worth noting the tolerances were very tight putting it together. Had to file down one side to put the clamp part onto the controller. It does work though. Holds both my phone and my tablet. So that's exactly why I bought it.

This is a great product. As other reviews have stated, assembly can be a challenge because the supplied instructions detail two ways to install the phone / tablet plate; one way does not work the other does. You need a magnifying glass to view the photos printed on the instructions. The best source is looking at the photos on Amazon.This device has not been field tested but it appears to be well designed and provides a huge improvement to the stock cellphone holder provided by DJI.For those of you trying to figure out where that mysterious extra round part goes that is not detailed in the instructions. It goes where the arm connects to the controller as detailed in the photo below. It adds more stability to the device.Great product for the money!

This is a really strong mount that works really well. The only bad thing is that there are no instructions so I had to figure out the assembly based on the photos after some trial and error I was able to get it together and it is great!

es ist zwar etwas friemelisch das Ding zusammen zubauen aber kein Problem. Wie es mit der Haltbarkeit auf Dauer aussieht kann ich zwar noch nicht sagen aber erstmal macht es einen guten Eindruck. Wirklich empfehlenswert und für den Preis würde ich es jederzeit wieder kaufen.
