I fitted this box to an external wall, taking a lighting cable in from a power source and out to a floodlight. It is easy to fit with two plastic plugs into the wall, one at each end and an electrical connection block in the middle. The only downside to the installation is the very thin, silicone rubber, used to for waterproofing the lid to the body of the box. The seal tends to move out of its recess before the lid can be fully closed, especially if the box is vertically mounted. The only way to get around this is to use a tiny amount of adhesive to keep the seal in place and then close the box. The lid latches and is further secured with two tiny screws. Looks fairly unbotrusive and does the job of providing a waterproof connection between two cable very well. Good product.

The seal is not attached to the box and was very fiddly to fit , would not purchase again

Used this to wire outside lights and it’s perfect. Watertight and easy to do.

Probably does a job but a bit too large for what I wanted and the plastic it’s made of didn’t inspire me but I guess you get what you pay for
