HalonixRadar B22 LED Bulb Radar 10 W (White)

I have procured many of these to save power.Points to note :1. It has day light sensor so it does not work in well lit room. It works when room is relatively dark....PERFECT2. It senses motion very well and works perfectly3. It do not sense my 3 yrs old daughter easily.... Thats an issue4. If it has turned on and you switch on the tube light too and there is continuous motion in the room then it stays on. But once the room has no motion then it turns off. Once again if there is sufficient motion in the room still it wont turn on if already there is sufficient light in the room...PERFECT.I have used OREVA motion sensor bulbs too in past. But that was using PIR sensor. I have some preference for PIR sensor since it wont turn on even if someone moves beyond the door or beyond the wall.There are both positive and negative aspects to consider between PIR sensor and Radar Sensor... but these days all companies have switched over to radar sensor and have stopped PIR sensor. So we wont easily get PIR sensor LED bulb. Although i have preference for PIR but still i am using Radar sensor LED bulbs.

Bought this in November 2019. used it at the stairs. Initially, it was great and worked like a dream. Motion and light Sensors were good and brightness was high. By July 2020, sensors became oversensitive, started detecting ghosts too which was scary in a way. By August 2020, misbehaved and eventually ''radars'' stopped working though the brightness was still great. In September 2020, realised the bulb is still in warranty filed an online complaint to halonix. They called the next day and told me the bulb will be replaced in ten days however after this they never made a follow-up communication, so I contacted them on the 12th day and they told me the product will be shipped in two days and asked me to contact them again after 2 days to get the tracking details. The phone was not reachable so sent them an email, to which they replied your product will be shipped by next week.Edit2: Not sure what will happen but their customer service seems to be pathetic. They are just wasting time so the warranty period gets over. Will update this review soon. downgrading the rating to 1 star as sellar stopped responding, after promising replacement.Edit3: On 6th Oct '20, received Halonix Inverter 9W Led as a replacement, probably it was sent by mistake. The inverter bulb is costlier than the radar bulb. Though it has no good use to me, as I already have an inverter/UPS at my house. Decided not to contact them further as the process is a little frustrating. Upgrading rating to 3 stars, due to 'honest' efforts from halonix.

Good product. Very reliable. 4 Star because it's not fool proof. Used it in the bathroom and it worked great. In the living room it was constantly on I guess too many moving things. Very suitable for out door. Had it tested on the staircase and it worked like a charm. The only draw back is that it's use is restricted to the night and not during the day.

First of all this a great initiative of integrating sensors within the load and keeping up the cost reasonable. It's highly sensitive to any motion from any objects so make sure you don't install it near fan or doors which move because of wind. I hope you keep making more such innovative products.The next version of this could be a bulb with few parameter adjustments like sensitivity and time, probably a slight increase in price for that.Pros:1. Highly sensitive and doesn't just respond to human motion. Much more responsive than generic pir sensor2. No mechanical parts like electromagnetic relays involved. So no clicking sounds while the light turns on or off and more durable circuit3. Reasonable costCons:1. High sensitivity (yeah its both pro and con. I planned to purchase more bulbs for my garden but unfortunately since my area is way too windy, the plants and trees constantly move, keeping the bulb on always. So sticking to bathroom and staircase for now)

Working perfectly , works after 6 PM evening and before 6 AM morning
