I have used an electric hedge clipper for years that needed extra long extension cords to get to the back of my yard. It was always a "project" to set it all up and get my bushes trimmed. This battery operated hedger is awesome! I love that I can plug in the battery and get to work. It makes the trimming so much easier. As a female, I was concerned about the weight but this hedge clipper is lightweight and very easy to use. Love It!!

This product was just right for me. It was light weight and easy to use. It was good to not have an electric cord to trip over or cut the cord as I usually did in past.I'm very pleased with it but wish the battery lasted longer. I didn't get to finish cutting my shrubs before having to charge the battery again.

A lot better than an extension cord modal.. holds charge for over two hours.. no complaints… good price point too.. going to buy another battery just to always have one on charge.. in case I need it…

The 22" trimmer suits my needs much better than my current electric model. The weight is not a problem and it trims smaller branches very easily. I just started to use it so can't give a valid report yet on battery life. It reaches full charge upon arrival in about 3 hours. The directions are not correct on the light staying green when fully charged as it blinks red when fully charged and green while charging. Reading the reviews I was already prepared for that and it's not a big issue! I purchased mine one sale at 22% off retail and find it to be a solid value at that price.

Works like a charm, battery life is great. Not sure how I made it without one of these to trim the evergreens, bushes, smaller tree limbs, etc.

These type of tools come in various sizes, power and ability to cut thicker stems and small branches. I had to contend with a home where much of the bushes were way over grown along with shrubs. This size trimmer along with its small lightweight battery worked perfectly to trim back the overgrowth and in some areas shape the bushes as desired. I was pleasantly surprised how long the battery lasted. This is not a very heavy weight tool so like any responsible person, be careful in how you handle it and don't try to have it cut overly thick stems and branches too large.When I ordered this, it came in a "generic" brown box rather than the type of boxes you see at a store. It came on time and the package mentioned was sufficient for delivery. I would buy this again if needed.

For years I've trimmed my bushes and hemlock with regular shears but these trimmers are wonderful. I had my bushes and hemlock done so fast I couldn't believe it. The battery live is more than I needed. I highly recommend them. The only thing that is wish is that they could have a blade guard for when they're not in use. The blades are very sharp.

I have an older version and well the batteries just won't hold a charge any more so it was time for an upgrade. The battery on this is more powerful, holds a charge for close to an hour of working. I find it light and easy to handle. Does a great job for trimming. Very happy with it.

I got this because I was getting tired of getting the cord out to trim my hedges. I already have a 40V B&D line trimmer, so that's why I got this. Two batteries now... It works great, has good power and long battery life. The only thing I find weird is that the safety button has to be pulled back with your thumb, which seems odd. Once I got used to it, it's fine.

Very easy to use, not to heavy, long enough but not to long.

This is light enough for a woman to use. It does not make lots of noise, which is nice. Works very well to trim hedges and small branches. I wish it could cut bigger branches but it cut the size as indicated in the description. This is a good buy and recommend it!

Works well and seems rugged enough to handle all of my trimming needs. The 22" size is definitely big enough and it's easy to maneuver, not too heavy either. Cordless is the way to go for sure for a hedge trimmer. Battery life of 45 minutes is sufficient, it never ran out in the times I used it and I wouldn't want to trim hedges and bushes for more than 45 minutes at a time, who's going to clean up that mess!
