This basket is crocheted out of a chenille type yarn has a soft and velvety feel to it, but the yarn is also super thick, making the sides of the basket nearly a half inch thick and firm enough to truly hold things well for storage! For added versatility this basket has a flat bottom, and can also sit freestanding on a desk, countertop, shelf, or table.
