Excellent Aromatase Inhibitor for Men
When trying to affect your hormones, which this product will definitely do, you need to get blood work before and after to make sure you are affecting the hormone levels correctly. My doctor recommended DIM instead of Rx aromatase inhibitor in order to lower E2 levels, since DIM also showed to increase Free Testosterone, which the Rx's do not. Serum and Free Testosterone have different physiological affects. Bio-TE pellets increase Serum levels, but do not greatly affect Free levels. My blood work showed that this DIM was very effective, maybe a little too effective, actually. I went from taking this once a day to taking it once every other day. Estradiol (E2) levels were significantly reduced due to this supplement, which was what I wanted to do. However, there is an optimal range of E2 to have in your blood. My levels were so low after taking this daily for 3 months, I pulled my back muscle during a very light deadlift set (only 225 lbs), and have been struggling to heal, which was over a month ago. I've been off these pills for 5 days, and noticed a significant improvement in healing already.I am not saying to stay away from these pills, quite the opposite. I am saying to use these carefully, under doctor supervision. And if you don't use doctor supervision, please pay attention to side affects of too little E2.Some reasons for men to have have some estrogen/estradiol in the blood:1. Important for sexual arousal (my libido slowly disappeared over two months)2. Allows muscles to fill with water, which is critical in healing after workouts3. Regulates bone densityMen get E2 from the conversion of testosterone, which is our primary "estrogen" source. It's true that estradiol plays a role in prostate cancer, but a good balance is important, as opposed to removing it completely.I'll be getting blood work periodically to see where I need to be with the dosage with these. Everyone reacts differently to hormone therapy, so don't just follow my example. Get tested with a doctor (or nurse practitioner, which is much cheaper).A little Bio:I'm 41, train regularly, and eat pretty darn good. I've been on Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) for a year now under a doctor's supervision in the Bio-TE pellet program (formerly named Sotto Pelle). Testosterone serum levels are just above 1000 ng/dL.**Before I went to Bio-TE, I was on Test shots and doctor directed Rx supplements, which is a more "traditional", but synthetic approach to HRT. If you have any questions about pellets vs. shots, please feel free to ask me questions. It is more affordable than you might think, especially if you find a nurse practitioner. I am not affiliated nor employed by any BHRT company, or medical/pharmacological entity. I'm just an average guy who had some Andropause issues, and now feeling like a teenager again. Well...except for my hurt back, right now. :)

One of the better supplements I've taken
At the time I'm writing this review I'm 55 years old. I'm trying to get as back into shape as I can and along with working out I've tried many different supplements. Mostly I have no idea if they are doing anything for me or not but I spent a fortune for a year or so on them anyway. DIM from Olympian Labs was one of the few that I felt actually did something for me. When I first began taking it I definitely felt that I was getting more pumped when working out. Now - I've either gotten used to the feeling and don't notice it or my body adjusted and I'm just not getting the same effect. I have no idea... But DIm is one of the few supplements I intend to continue taking.

Great Product, highly recommend.
Excellent Product, this estrogen blocker works. If you've had surgery or are losing weight and you want to tighten the skin and also eliminate water weight DIM is on point for that. Also if you genetically just have high levels of estrogen so as you get older it is causing you to have a chest that is not as tight or higher level of fat deposits gravitating to your chest then this is a good product for you as well. I've tried a few others, EstroBlocker and also Erase and this is much better, plus I feel it is more potent. What I did and this is just me personally, and I am not a doc or anything is as follows: I just took 2 pills in the morning and then 2 in the evening the first two days to get it into my system and working and then after that I would do 1 in the morning and 1 before bed. It has been great for me, after about 10 days, chest has been very tight, also my core as well. I originally found out about this viewing a YouTube video, the kid in the video holds up a bottle that has the blue silhouette of the guy making a muscle on it, so I was confused when I saw the label on this bottle, however, if you flip thru the product photos you see that same label. Maybe the company should make note of that or change their main product photo?

UPDATE: Went From 6 Days Bed Rest To None
I have estrogen dominance. I take 100mg twice a day with 1000mg of Calcium D-Glucarate twice a day. I have been taking them for 3 weeks, and I see a difference with my bowels being easier to come out. My urine, after 3 weeks, has a light brown tint to it. We will see if these supplements will eventually lessen my heavy cycles.UPDATE: 3 months laterI switched to taking 300mg day from 200mg. After taking DIM for 3 months, along with 2,000mg of Calcium D-Glucarate daily, my periods have gone from starting every 21-25 days to 29-31 days. I used to have a horrendous Day 2; now, it is less heavy. I no longer have huge bIood clots; they are tiny. I also take 1,200mg of Ibuproben, Yarrow, and Cramp Bark 3 to 5 days before my period starts. As with any supplement, you want to give it at least 3 months to judge how effective it is.UPDATE: 6 months laterI added 400 mg Magnesium Glycinate 5 days before cycle to my regiment. I have gone from being on bedrest for 6 days during my cycle 6 months ago to only 36 hours now.Update: 10 months laterTaking the combination of 300mg DIM, 2,000mg Calcium D-Glucarate, 400 mg Magnesium Glycinate, 1,200mg of Ibuproben, and a dropper full each of Shepherd's Purse, Yarrow, and Cramp Bark has resulted in a lighter period and no days of bedrest.
