Salted Honey Caramels by San Juan Island Sea Salt

These are by far the best I’ve ever had.If you like store bought “caramels” like braces or kraft, then these aren’t for you.Theee are like a fine glass of wine or a fresh baked loaf of bread or a good steak.I only eat one at a time but I divide it into 3 bites & let it slowly dissolve as I savor the fresh taste and creaminess.They may seem pricey but if you want good quality caramels, these are it.Will definitely buy again.

I ordered these for my girlfriend for Valentine's day and she was delighted. They might be a bit pricey, but if you like a little bit of sweet at a time and appreciate sea salt, you'll love these caramels. I don't even like caramel that much (mostly chewy caramel because it hurts my teeth), but I loved these!

They taste good, don't get me wrong. I've enjoyed two so far, and they're definitely worth putting in your mouth, but...Honestly, my mother's caramels are better. And those don't cost 3.50 an ounce.These are really soft. Like they were made in high humidity, or weren't heated enough or something. I like soft caramels, but these are a little softer than soft play-dough. I prefer a little bit of chew with my caramel.You can definitely taste the honey. If you like really, really sweet things, then these are probably for you. If you like your caramel with a little more meat to it (a focus on the butter, rather than the honey) I recommend some made with cane sugar, which doesn't have the weird aftertaste of corn syrup.Sea salt is too much. Honestly, it's got the same nutritional value as regular salt, despite the touting; the main difference is that it comes in larger crystals. Which means that the large crystals don't distribute through the caramel as well, leaving you with crunchy pieces of salt in your candy. I personally don't like that.

These are really good and I would consider buying again even though they are fairly expensive.

Agree with Kate and Deborah, truly overrated, and for $3.50 an ounce , ridiculous. I should have made my own, but I will eat this price so that I will read more carefully the product description.

The salt is really indescribably wonderful and the Carmel is fantastic. I've just ordered my 4th box.One of the vest things I have ever tasted. The box is just so small but I love them. I wish I could order larger size, even looked on their site. Would love for shipping to be quicker as everybody wants 1 then another. Like I said, the box is so small

Was disappointed this came in a bag not a box like shown! I got this for my mom for Mother’s Day. It came with 13 pieces. Honestly not worth the price

These caramels are devine! Several years ago I vacationed in Seattle and day tripped in the San Juan islands. I sampled soft caramels during that trip so when I saw these on Amazon, I had to see if they were as yummy as I remembered. They weren't ... they are a thousand percent better! If you love soft, melt-in-your-mouth caramels, these are for you!
