Libbey196S4 Brews 4-Piece Craft Pub Glass Set, Clear

These glasses were given as a gift. They are very nice and durable. We've been using them for over a month now, and I can see these lasting a long time. Very pleased with my purchase and the receiver is happy too.

They're good quality, reasonably sturdy, and they're Willi Becher glasses, which is what I wanted and what I ordered. Now that I'm looking at them I really don't get what the fuss is about. I understand this type of glass is widespread in Germany and might be used to serve almost any style of beer. I wanted to get some to have an alternative to Pilsners and Pints for some of the less-common stuff I might serve. I honestly don't see how these glasses can enhance the enjoyment of drinking anything, beer or otherwise, you might as well use a water tumbler. Whatever, I got what I ordered so I can't complain.

I bought this item, because I wanted a German style pub glass that held 20oz. These glasses only hold 17oz., which is barely large enough to pour a tall boy (16.9oz). If the pour has a head on it, it is not large enough. I have a authentic German willi becher that easily holds 20oz.I'm not sending them back to avoid the trouble, but I thought I'd let others know.Prost!

These (4) long, tall, crystal clear glasses can easily hold the contents of one and a half bottles or cans of beer. I now have the full attention of every man on the planet.That's right guys; this is a `power pint' which is elegantly shaped with a thick base which also allows us to hold true to having told the little lady, we are only going to have a `couple' beers. Who's the victim here? Now I realize the measurements are buried in the description, but as a man, I don't read directions, so I was delightfully surprised at the colossal height these containers.For those who may have `happened' upon some commercial glassware, these glasses are not as thick on the side. Which means the weight savings can be offset with.... you're right if you said more beer. Additionally the average person is quite capable of making it weeks, if not many years without managing to break a glass, and would benefit little from the industrial strength tankards.These are also dishwasher safe and made in the USA. So this carton of four can hold a six pack and look quite good while doing that. So raise your glass gentlemen, and offer a toast to Libbey, and their beer and a half container.

you get what you pay for I suppose. the glasses are very fragile and one came with a chip on the interior of the glass. would not recommend skimping on beer glasses at this price.
