Chef'n Sleekstor VeggiSteam 8-1/2-Inch Silicone Steamer, Arugula

Bought this hoping to finally have a silicone steamer and when I used it for the first time I was completely happy. It works as advertised and is very easy to handle. Definitely worth what I paid for it!

We were very disappointed with this item,it does not really hold the food very well when you lift it out of the saucepan and also the handles get very hot making it difficult to take out.Of this type this was fairly expensive so we thought it would be really good, bad sadly not.It is easy to clean and stands firmly when out of the saucepan but overall we were disappointed.

I have had this 8 1/2 inch steamer for almost a year now. It works perfectly for steaming veggies. It performs great in my 5qt nonstick electric pressure cooker - fits perfectly, no scratching and it has 3 short feet (~1" tall) that hold the platform just above the water line (1 cup of water is recommended for my pressure cooker). The 2 handles make it easy to remove, although as some reviewers have noted, the veggies could roll off since this steamer is more flat and not bowl shaped - probably best to just remove items from the pot and not try to remove the whole steamer + contents, especially if it is overloaded. This steamer also fits into my 3qt saucepan - it is flexible, so it slightly squishes into the pan sides with no problems. Easy to wash. Stores easily in cupboard. Arugula green color is pleasant, not too bright. A bit expensive but worth it for this unique product. Highly recommended.

Stufo dei cestelli che si aprono in metallo, perchè durano solo qualche mese, ho voluto provare questo.Certo che il materiale è mille volte meglio!!!.L'unico "neo" è che la misura costringe ad utilizzare al massimo pentole di diametro appena inferiore a quello del prodotto stesso, mentre con i cestelli in metallo (che sono più rigidi) posso usare pentole anche un poco più grandi, perchè sostengono comunque il cibo; mentre il silicone, se non appoggia sulle pareti della pentola, cede perchè è morbido e quindi il cibo rischia di cadere sul fondo.In ogni caso questo mi durerà senz'altro di più!Il colore, il materiale e la fattura sono ottimi.
