So dissapointing...a nice uke sabotaged by shoddy electronics.
I *really* wanted this to work out, it was supposed to be a simple electric uke that my daughter could use as well. The actual fit and finish was very nice, and the uke body & fretboard is very attractive. Unfortunately, the audio jacks are shoddy, as other buyers have experienced:Audio in: no problemHeadphone out: jack askew, very stiff on insertion1/4" audio out: NO SIGNAL, did not workPickup/sound quality: merely adequate I guess, you're not buying this for the sound qualityI suppose I could have fixed these myself with a soldering iron and a trip to Radio Shack, but I decided "why bother". For over $200, minor items like this should not be an issue.

Disappointing fit
I ordered this from another vendor. It arrived yesterday. Mine is supposed to brand new, but it has two dings on the neck. Those dings aren't the real issue, though. The problem is that amp cables don't fit properly into the ukulele. They go in most of the way but don't click solidly into place. Either you get no amplification, or you get amplification that's crackly and noisy. Either way, the cable pulls out with the slightest change in position. There's a similar problem with the headphone jack, which is recessed into the body. Headphones don't click into place and pull out easily. It's terrible frustrating, and I don't know how to fix it without, perhaps, replacing the hardware.
