Super Grill Ready-to-Use Disposable Grill- 2 Pack (2)

So when my family and I were going to be on a beach vacation and like any rental house the chances of a grill are hard to come by. So instead of buying one of those cheap ten dollar grills that could be used a few times during the week. So let me setup the situation. This was advertised as an easy to light environmentally friendly grill and once the coals had died out easily disposable. So the night we were to grill shrimp I had unwrapped the first grill. The box was easy enough to open and the single page three picture instruction on what to do was to say a little confusing. So I had to set the brown bag that held the charcoal on fire first. Yes set the bag on fire first to expose the coals as you are not supposed to open the grill in anyway. So did that and was amazed by the fact that the bag did not somehow set the coals on fire. Once that was done you had to evenly spread the accelerate on each coal. Well when the grill is nothing more then industrial grade chicken wire with holes no bigger then a pea and the accelerate is a toothpaste sized tube its kind of hard as the theory behind the instructions that this stuff is supposed to catch fire easily. Ok I work around it and manage to get the stuff on each coal somehow. Then I go to light each and every coal with my lighter as a match would have burned and gotten me upset. wasting all that time. Now this is where the third picture instruction got me pissed. "Once the charcoal has been lit please allow 5 to 8 minutes before grilling and enjoy!" Well twenty minutes later and using up every drop of that accelerate to light the damned things I did not enjoy grilling at all. I wound up using a pan to cook my shrimp. Needless to say this "easy" grill was for the most part the biggest waste of money I ever used. I didn't even bother with the second one as I manged to use the house shabby grill and that was a hell of lot better then these things. I had hoped that a lot of these 1 star reviews were just user errors. Nope, they are legitimate and quite frankly I am in the majority. So please for the love of god do not buy these things and just spend the money on an easy portable grill with coals that work. Also if your in Topsail, NC and find an unopened pack just leave it there to collect dust. Thanks.

Trust the reviews - I didn't. These do not work as advertised. We ordered two of these for a Chiefs football tailgate. We thought they would allow us to do some minor BBQ'ing. You receive a bag of charcoal, neatly tucked under the grill - and you're given a tube of accelerant. You're instructed to light the bag, to expose the charcoal. Then, add accelerant and light the coals. It's almost comical. First, the bag doesn't burn, then the accelerant (it's a gel) - will burn, but not enough to heat the coals. We borrowed some lighter fluid from a neighbor - and even when doused, the charcoal refused to light. This grill is a total bust - 2 grills that behaved in the same manner as the other grills listed in the review section... Good news is the cooler worked fine and the beer was cold. GO CHIEFS!

it was horrible! first of all the grill is too small, secondly the ignitor gel that is included is a joke! we purchased a few of these grills and most of the time it does not ignite. I would NEVER RECOMMEND this to ANYONE. It was embarassing trying to get a fire going. And this was way overpriced.Horrible product. If I could give it minus 5 stars I would. Never again

Haven’t used them yet .I gave them to my daughter whose going on vacation to use at the campground

The product description was deceptive at best. I bought 2 off the 2-packs and 3 of the 4 now sit on the shelf gathering dust. The paper bag doesn't burn completely and the gel was an ineffective starter. I was never able to get the coals to light long enough to begin getting hot.

I bought this product to have a BBQ party on the beach to celebrate my son's birthday and could not have been more disappointed. Followed the directions exactly and could not get the charcoal to light, finally was able to get one tiny section to get hot but never got hot enough to even cook 1 hot dog. Finally gave up and had to leave the beach to feed the boys.

I'm Very happy with this product. Works as advertised.
