A Touch of Minx Mass Market Paperback – September 25, 2007

Easy, fun read with a couple very steamy love scenes. I loved this series and am sad there won’t be more. Sam and Rick and the rest are such great characters and the plots are fun. It did finish on a high note, so there’s that.

Just finished reading this book for more times than I can recall. Its a keeper, as those who enjoy the genre often say. Quick, clever, great characters and story line. I was shocked when I read it had not sold well enough to guarantee publication of the next book in the series. Perhaps fans of Ms Enoch's historical novels (also superior) doubt her ability to cross over. Don't. Maybe those who prefer contemporary suspense haven't found her yet. Start reading. Hopefully by the time you get to this one (there are five in the series), someone will have the good sense to properly market Ms. Enoch's talent and we will have a new Sam-Rick novel. No, I'm not her mother. I'll actually a very eclectic and discriminating, but compulsive reader. I like what I like and I like these books.

This is one good series. I had the second story in paperback. I purchased the first and third books here on my kindle. Would like to know if there will be any more books in this series. All three books are filled with romance, suspense, humor, good friendships, etc. Our heroine is tops in the cat b burglar business, our hero is a wealthy businessman. How they meet and have a relationship is well worth your time reading. The ex wife appears in the second book asking for help. This is a keeper set which will need rereading every now and again.sometimes knowing the ending makes the journey more enjoyable.Theila

This series of 5 books, that is being continued into a new series, is great! They are exciting, suspenseful, romantic, sexy, humorous and an overall fun read. I’m so glad the series is being continued!!!

I love this author. Her stories contain lots of details to enable you to see the action, the characters are unique, and the story lines have twists and turns.

Suzanne never fails to deliver and I love reading every!! word so I don't miss any plot or character development. This is unusual for me, as I usually devour any and all fiction

Sam and Rick face their hardest fences in this relationship. It seems everyone can sense change in the air and reacts badly. Their relationships with others help Sam and Rick finally define what they have and what they want.The retrieval job arises again and Sam begins to define her new life on her terms. No spoilers, but this is the book in the series you cannot miss.

Plot is far out and not at all believable but who cares. Its fast paced and has a guy who is every woman's dream but is only possible if he is genetically engineered so why not fantasise - after all life is too short. I enjoyed despite the obvious bloopers:)

Man kann sich in die Charaktere sehr gut hineinversetzen. Sie sind gut beschrieben, haben Tiefe und sind in ihren Handlungen nachvollziehbar.Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

This is the 5th and final volume of the adventures of Richard Addison – very rich businessman and British aristocrat - and Samantha Jellicoe, retired American cat burglar. It is a year since they first met and both are still coming to terms with their new lifestyle. Samantha is trying to establish her new career as a retriever of stolen property and is working on two cases – both with tight time deadlines – one for a museum and the other for a local schoolgirl. Richard is trying to run his business and protect Sam from danger without alienating her by trying to stop her taking risks. The action plays out across 11 days and is thoroughly enjoyable with several good twists and a happy ending. Our hero and heroine are a very attractive couple and I’d happily read more of their adventures. The story stands on its own but would be much better appreciated if one has read the earlier books and is familiar with the characters' background and the illegal world in which Sam used to operate.There is – I believe – one hole in the plot which did marginally detract from my enjoyment and resulted in me only giving it four stars, though as far as I can see this did not bother other reviewers. The museum’s property was stolen 10 years earlier and the crime therefore cannot be prosecuted as it is covered by the statute of limitations. However, the author writes as if this limitation also applied to the stolen goods which is, I think, incorrect and it is not necessary to steal them back, only to prove their location. However, getting such proof is not easy and would require an illegal entry anyway, so why not retrieve them at the same time?

A Touch of Minxis a great leap from Brtish Empire hay days to present, real fun to read, the characters fit the two periods and the writer has done them nore than justice
