Enjoyable
Enjoyable stories for Catholic children! I look forward to reading these to my children each morning before we begin our homeschool lessons. They would also make excellent bedtime stories for non-homeschool Catholic families. However, while I enjoy these tales, I have to say the first volume is the better of the two, but I always find Carryll Houselander a good read!

Highly entertaining great for catholic children and adults.
This book is filled with beautiful catholic stories which are a must read for every catholic family not only for children but adults as well. I highly recommend it for everyone not only for catholics but for the rest of the world too. The kindle edition is beautifully written without any flaws. Definitely worth it.

The BEST book on the meaning of Sainthood for ages 10-14
This is a lovely, well written book, featuring moving and truly holy stories about the actions of children leading to conversion of themselves, their friends, or adults. Cannot recommend this author enough, everything she writes is moving and true. The illustrations are also very cute!

Universal positive themes
Great classic stories with lovely themes. Have read the book many times and some of my children read it over and over again. Each story is stand-a-lone, so the book does not have to be read cover-to-cover. Nor does the reader need to read the original Catholic Tales by Caryll Houselander to enjoy or understand this "sequel". It is more of a second volume than a sequel. I highly recommend for elementary age children.

The kids want more!
I have been reading this book and the first "Catholic Tales for Boys and Girls" to my older kids (9, 7 and 3.5) every night before prayers. My 9 year old I think really gets what the stories are talking about and my 7 year old gets it after I explain some things. The stories are a great way to teach and talk about the Faith. My 3.5 year old listens and doesn't want to miss the one picture per story. I wish there were more! More Catholic authors need to write books for the 6-12 age group.

Great for nighttime reading
So far, I love this book. I read one story each night with my almost 7 year old son before bed. He gets into the short stories and although he has a shorter attention span, he requested that book over his other books when I forget. I found it while looking into some homeschool programs and am very impressed. I will be back to purchase the other books in the series.

They loved every single one
I read both the first book and this one to the kids I help homeschool. They loved every single one. And many of them made me cry--which made it hard to keep reading aloud. They are perfectly pitched to children: Mine were ages 4-11.

My 5 year old can't get enough of these stories
These short stories are 4 pages at most, they really move along. Extremely descriptive scenery and feelings/emotions. I love how my 5 year old is hooked. Even the 3 year old listens attentively, but there are not a lot of pictures. But the lessons are awesome. I would save these books to pass down.

Excellent book!
Perfect stories for bed time. Easily catches the attention of any child, as well as the reader. Each story is 5 minutes give or take, and a real treat to have a little touch of Catholicism.
