Master the Sideview, young Jedi
I'm told that there were ancient times when man-like creatures walked the earth dragging their single-camera borescopes behind. I do not believe these fables. I know that my own existence began when the shorts-wearing gods of the brown flying machine placed this wonder into my trembling hands.Seriously, the side camera is an indispensable tool for analyzing cylinder leakage in combustion engines. Master the skill of rotating the admittedly stiff camera cable and you'll be able to conclusively diagnose valve leakage/headgasket failures in a fraction of the time previously required. The camera resolution is beautiful, the video display is clear and durable, the buttons and interface are simple and effective, great price point, easy USB file sharing, etc. As someone who previously hated using borescopes, I truly enjoy this tool. Depstech hit a home run here.

Well built and well thought out.
This thing is really nice, price notwithstanding. It seems to be pretty tough, the screen is a good size, the 180 flip button is super helpful, the side camera is great, and being able to record video and take pictures just seals the deal. I highly recommend this one.

See where you haven’t seen before.
This is an item that I didn’t think I would need, but thought I’d get one just in case. But it has been a great help in locating lost items in my car, my kitchen, under furniture and what is in my sink drain that was restricting the flow.I have been really impressed by the quality of the product, the robust construction, outstanding clarity of the screen, the functionality and usefulness of this endoscope.I think the design is practical, the built in light is a great idea, and the dual lens is very useful. It comes with a few useful items and the length of the probe is longer than you would ever need (probably). It is also a lot of fun discovering things you’ve never seen before or from a different perspective, it has great battery life and the usb C charging is a boon.I love the case it is supplied with, it is a convenient way to keep the scope protected and organised. All in all I would highly recommend this product which you don’t need until you do!

Worth the money!
Scope came the next day and was exactly what my husband wanted. He used it to check out a dryer vent and was impressed with the quality of the video, so much so we bought two more as gifts for family members.

Depstech has perfected the boroscope for consumers!
This is the most amazing tool to See where you cannot go, and a serious improvement over previous models! After developing an outstanding lens/LED lighting/ image in their earlier models, Depstech has put everything altogether in one great tool. Gone is the (could be problematic) wifi app, to see the image on your phone, replaced with a super sharp hand held HD IPS screen, as big as any phone's. Sharp true to life colors (the LEDs do have a slightly bluish cast). All the buttons (to in/decrease lighting, take pictures or videos, the Menu if you want to get fancy) are right there above the handhold to be operated by your thumb, leaving your other hand free to maneuver the probe. Comes with a 32Gb micro SD card (format before use, in the menu) to store the images you capture. The cable is 16.5ft long, so good for the most likely scenarios (and I have the earlier 33ft cable model for really long plumbing issues lol.) The lens system and cable are only 1/4" in diameter, so you can go anywhere, even if you have to drill a hole in a wall or ceiling and patch it.The cable is stiff, and it doesn't bend easily in very tight places (like the foot of a bathtub drain) alas. But once you get the hang of the shape of the space you're exploring, you can pre-bend the cable and that will get you where you're going. (Hint - after bending the cable and finding your way, sometimes the best images come as you are exiting the space, pulling out, instead of trying to always see things on the way in.) And the new built in back light really helps you see where you're even aiming the probe in a dark place like a vehicle engine.I had 2 projects to immediately test this boroscope out. The dogs dig under a low porch to get at some critter - what exactly would determine the bait... The first picture shows the nature of the vermin - hah!The second is the starter on an old Ranger (if you have worked on one, you know that incredibly tight place - you cannot work where you can see, and you cannot see from the angle you have to work.) So using the back light to illuminate the engine spaces, I could see how I needed to angle the cable to get to that starter from above (instead of a bright shop or head lamp.) Snap, the nuts are all tight so that's not the issue (second photo.)I have a network cable to add in the wall, a tiny leak in a roof vent (it's been raining too hard to get up there for that project.) Could take it to the beach for the kids to see what lives in those holes in the sand. (Yes, all 16ft of the probe are submersible waterproof and the handheld is highly water resistant.) This tool will get used!!And it all comes in a compact hard sided carrying case with attachments to retrieve lost items. They really thought of everything this time, such high quality, and the image is incredible!
