Arnold Xtreme 280-Foot Professional Grade String Trimmer Line

This string line is incredible. I read the reviews prior to purchasing and was a bit skeptical. I just became a Great Grandmother and my husband is too ill to do yard work. String trimming is my least favorite pastime. However, I purchased the 80V Green Works Pro string trimmer which made this much easier (another fabulous product). I didn't think things could get much better until I purchased this string. The previous reviews are true. I have just over 1/2 an acre. This string is durable and flexible. Stopped only a couple times to rewind the string. Both times were of my own doing. I get too aggressive trimming along the concrete retention wall, fire pit, etc. All I can say is Thank You for such a great product. You've saved me a great deal of work. I'm getting too old for this stuff. LOL

I bought this trimmer line to re-spool my trimmer. I was encouraged by the other positive reviews here on this product and selected it over others I had researched on that basis. This was a good purchase and has worked out very well for me.This is not traditional round line, but rather it is actually almost square. It is made of two different materials and the edge/corner material is the harder, more durable of the two. It’s somewhat stiff though not brittle, and as a result the line holds up when trimming in close quarters. Where the line that came with my string trimmer is soft and wears very quickly, this line holds up better and wears slowly, even when trimming along concrete sidewalks, aluminum gutters and rust-covered pipes and poles.I spooled my trimmer and went to work in the yard, and I had to feed line about half as often as I did with the original string. In the long run, this will save me a lot of money.I’m very happy with this trimmer string and wish my trimmer came with it instead of the cheap stuff that was on it when I got it. This is a much higher quality string that is more durable, meaning less work for the user and less expense over time.

The line that came with my trimmer and several others I have tried would break off within the spool requiring me to stop what I was doing and manually pull out additional line. This would happen while trimming about every 25 - 30 feet. With this line, I am able to complete my entire yard without jams or breakage. I don't mean to say that the line doesn't wear down with use. It does, but it doesn't jam within the spool or break within the spool. I simply press the trimmer's auto feed device and a fresh length of line is fed. I will not use anything else. It really isn't more expensive when you consider that I don't have frequent unnecessary breakage. It's a great product and saves me a great deal of time and frustration!

Until now. I usually let my back yard go nuts during the winter then aggressively trim it when it's the end of the rainy season. This line devoured everything in its path, including several weed stalks that were well over 1/2" thick. This line is simply amazing.

What I like about it's very durable last longer when edging and mowing the entire yard since my parents lawn are covered with 99% of different kinds of bad weeds from crab weeds to look alike fiber plants that stucks on clothing. What i don't like is the price. Very pricey. With that price should be a ton 5X bigger than actual size. This line last longer than any other round lines sold out there. Would definitely recommend it again. Thank you.
