EarthQuaker Devices Hizumitas Fuzz Sustainar Pedal

Added this pedal to my pedal board with high hopes. I started playing clean and then hit the button and out pops some mind crushing distortion. Turn the controls to dial in your perfect tone. The three knobs adjust volume, sustain and tone. I personally like the tone to where it boosts the highs. My expectations were met on this one.

amazing fuzz, if not the best.design is top notch, and the sound is fantasticeven at high gain settings the notes can be distinguished thru the wall of fuzz that this pedal brings!10/10

This thing is so brutal and loud, sometime fuzz gets lost as in lost in the live band mix, but not this one. Volume and fuzz for days. Earthquaker deserves a nobel prize for this thing. Reminds me of the Eau Claire Thunder, but a little easier to control. Only bad thing is the light gets covered up by my foot, but very minor

This is by far the most articulate and distinctive fuzz pedal I've ever heard, hands down. Using it in literally everything at this point.

It's basically a Triangle Muff, but a little fizzier on the top end. This isn't a bad thing though. The pedal sounds very saturated, which lends itself to awesome sustained drones. Also, great note clarity if you're playing arpeggios. I really like how even the more extreme tone control settings are very usable. This is definitely a doomy, drone-y fuzz.
