Dexas NSF Polysafe Cutting Board with Handle, 11 by 14.5 inches, White

I purchased this after reading that it was a top product on another web site, recommended by cooks. I saw some people had complained about receiving warped cutting boards. I should have listened. My first board was severely warped so I requested an exchange, assuming the vendor/manufacturer would be extra careful to check their product for defects before shipping. Nope. The replacement was also warped. Since the manufacturer does not appear to be interested in supplying a quality product or in providing good customer service, I'm returning this for a refund.Please do not buy this product. Even if the warping is minor, it is a danger and risk to your safety as it will NOT provide a stable surface for cutting or chopping food.

I bought this board because it was USA made. I use it for trimming 5 lbs. of chicken once a month (making pet food), nothing else. I alternate the sides. It immediately started to show marks. Within a couple months, the plastic was flaking off, probably getting in the food. I was stupid enough to buy a 3-pack of theses dexas boards also. All did the same thing. Definitely do not recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  This cutting board is exactly what I wanted. It is simple, clean, and large. It would be 5 stars except it arrived with a slight bow or bend in it. This prevents it from laying flat on my counter and it slides around. I have placed several heavy items in it hoping it will correct. If it doesn’t lay flat it won’t be useful in my kitchen.

The 14" x 17" cutting board (cost: $16.58) that I received had no handle (good, I did not want a handle); it was actually 13.8" x 16.8" (OK with me), but it was only 0.34" thick (11/32"). Thus this cutting board is NOT 0.38" (3/8"+) thick. 3/8" (0.375") is the absolute minimal acceptable thickness for a poly cutting board this size (14x17"+/-). The advertised thickness (0.38") is wrong. The board that I received is flat and within plane; it's just too thin to be considered adequate or acceptable. If this board cost less than $10, then it would be appropriately priced.Additionally, I also purchased a $12.99 Dexas 11" x 14.5" x 0.3" poly cutting board. The cutting board that I received was 10.625" x 14.3" x 0.28" (9/32"). It was packaged in a thin plastic envelope with no padding and it arrived slightly dished by about 1/16". It was NOT flat nor was it within plane. Thus it can only be used with the dished surface down as with the dish side up it slides about on the counter surface. Again, 0.28" is too thin for an 11" x 14.5" cutting board, although it would be acceptable for a smaller, say 8.5" x 11" cutting board. The cutting board that I received would be fairly priced at less than $5.00.

I was really happy to finally find a poly cutting board made in the USA and not in China, so I bought two. I really want to be able to give this product 5 stars based on that, but after one dishwashing, the boards warped so that they didn't lay flat on the counter and spin when I try to cut on them. Still usable, but pretty annoying.

The dimensions are listed at "15 x 9.5 x 0.5 inches" but the thickness is definitely not 0.5 inches. I measured the thickness to be about 5/16", which is even less than 3/8"! It is also not completely flat, so it really can only be used atop a kitchen towel or other soft surface. For a product that is labeled "FOR PROFESSIONAL FOOD SERVICE USE", these are serious problems. To be fair, the cutting surface itself is of reasonable quality and is in fact high density polypropylene as opposed to the cheaper polyethylene. However, be aware that you will not be getting the product that is described.It used to be very easy to find decent cutting boards, but for whatever reason it is now very difficult.

We bought this to put across our new workstation sink. My wife cut a tomato and an avocado on it and it is already scarred. She was not hardly using any pressure. I cannot imagine what is going to happen to it once we really have to start cutting firmly, or if we have to use a serrated edge. We have a board we have used extensively from wally world for the past 6 years with nearly no scarring. Obviously the more groves there are the more places bacteria can stay/grow, the more pieces will start getting cut off and pieces of the material in your food. My wife is horrible about throwing away packages as soon as something is opened or else this would be going right back.

Size was just what I was looking for. However, the cutting board is very thin: (3/8 of an inch) , so the juice groove is so shallow it will be of very little use. There is a 1/16 warp in the board, so if I'm cutting with the groove up, the board is going to wobble on the table. Price was also $7.00 more than the local store, but they were out of stock. Not happy; Wish I had more choices in this size.

I'm using this to give me extra "counter space" when placed on the stove and it's working just fine at a far better price than boards made for that purpose. Seems heat resistant, although I haven't placed anything super hot on it - no trouble with the air fryer basket.

The first board I received was quite warped. This is actually dangerous IMO for a cutting board as it will move and spin when using it. I asked for a replacement that came without issue and quickly. The second board was also warped and so I'm returning for a refund. I have bought many plastic cutting boards and never had one that was not flat. I can't recommend.

This is a great sized cutting board. However, it's nearly useless because it is bowed and as such does not lay flat on the counter. The bulge makes it spin around as I'm trying to work on it (very dangerous when using a sharp knife!). I should have returned it when I first noticed but I did not.

2 fois la planche a été livré croche. Plié au centre. Pas utilisable et dangereux. Je ne recommanderai plus. Je retourne pour une 2e fois.

Works for my purposes. Seems like good value for price.
