Ginger Root

I use this to make the most wonderful Ginger Snap Glycerite. In a 1-qt jar add 1.5 cups dried ginger; 1 3/4 cup vegetable glycerine & 1 cup distilled water. Top with a piece of parchment paper and screw on the lid. Shake and label with contents/date made and date ready (30 days later). Shake daily. Strain through sieve with cheesecloth and bottle in jars. Great for Immunity, metabolism, nausea, motion sickness, virus and so much more. Glycerine is naturally sweet with no calories or sugar. Can take AM & PM or as needed. I use 2-3 partial droppers directly in mouth when needed. Look for my how-to videos on YouTube under TasteOfHealthOnline

Excellent value. Good strong ginger. Beautiful aroma, fresh flavor. Must be ground for baking or in a sachet for flavoring soups and sauces, but as is, it makes wonderful tea (lime and sugar in mine!) for upset stomach or mixed with black tea for breakfast. Good buy!

Spicy! You can add however much you want for the strength you need. We like to use when we’re sick as ginger is healing. Overall, would buy this again once my bag runs out!

The taste and quality to me seems excellent. Very potent, wonderful ginger. Lg bag, but I think it can keep very well in a jar with tight fitting lid.

One is strong enough if left long. I use two so it can be strong quicker. After tasting a different brand ginger tea from a friends house, this is a lot stronger.

i thought it was a powder just put it in your mouth and it softens works great for an upset stomach

Great flavor, secure packaging, smells good. My only beef with this ginger is that it doesn't really plump back up when it's put in a dish. I used it in a pressure cooked lentil dish, and in an on-stove lentil dish, and in both cases it stayed fairly unchanged, whereas I'm used to dehydrated / dried spices soaking up moisture. However, that's not going to keep me from using it. I go through a lot of ginger and am always running out of fresh (I try to buy jars of ginger because I dislike peeling and cutting fresh ginger root). When I run out, this dried ginger root will sub in a pinch. I've also added it to loose-leaf tea and it added a nice little zing!

This is perfect for making tea and other drinks like Masala Chai. Much better than using the ground ginger.

Exactly right

I use this every day to make a tea and it’s perfect. Couple of small spoons full with fennel. Sets my stomach up for the day
