Connex 10sB 10-speed chain - 114 links

After wearing through two Shimano chains faster than I would have liked I thought I’d try something different. Installation was easy even for someone as mechanically deficient as myself. Shifting was noticeably smoother and easier with this chain and the black color looks cool. I like the quick link although to remove it you do have to exert a lot of pressure on it. Also, be careful because one time during removal the pieces of the quick link went shooting in different directions on me and I lost half the link. Replacement quick links are a priced quite high so you don’t want to lose them. I recommend using a chain link tool. I haven’t needed to use the quick link on the road but it’s a better concept than having to use a chainbreaker and a pin. Overall this is a great chain at a great price. I got 2395 miles out of it.

This Wipperman 10sB Special Edition Black chain is perfect for my "Black" 2012 Catrike 700 Racing Recumbent, which also accented in "Red" which I named "The Black Widow"...I am using (3) three 114 link chains for my "Trike" project drivetrain....The price was right and FASSST delivery!!!!...Note: I have been using ONLY Wippermann chains in the past for ALL of my cycling projects because of the well-built and durability of the Wipperman chains products!!!!! ....This is my first set of "BLACK" colored chains and they are beautiful!!!!!...You will never go wrong with Wipperman chains!!!!

Amazing chain, nothing bad to say about it. I love it. light, cool looking and not noisy at all. 3 months and only one lube in the AZ summer heat. Not bad...Note: i did notice that when the quick connect link was installed a certain way, I would notice the rear derailleur skip here and there. After reversing the link everything works perfectly.Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Definitely recommend it.

The chain is stiff and looks like it could take a hammering but unfortunately it does not work with a Osymetric ring gearWill not lie down on all the teeth after the ramp in the ring, horrible trying to change gear on the big rings very very noisy on the cassette.That said I would chose this as my chain if I did not have the Osymetrics

Chain is very nice, I ride in the desert area and therefor keep my chain very clean and DRY. I have put about 700 miles on this chain and it has not stretched enough for my chain-gauge to drop in yet.Update---after 3600 mi. chain wear is at 50% using the ProLink chain gauge. Time to order another Wippermann, this time I will try the stainless hollow pin model.
