I ordered this to be compact when away and to fit an awkward sized gap. Installation was fairly straightforward. No issues in use beyond it being a little tricky one handed due to its flexibility. No complex steps to open and close.I bought this for a dog gate and it's great for my dog, a strong or boisterous dog may be able to push through but mine us small.I think the strength needed would prevent very young children from opening this.Retracts well without catching.I'd definitely recommend for unusual spaces or where a solid gate would be awkward or unwieldy.A good price for the build and quality.

This is by far my top purchase of 2023, super easy to install, and provides a good sturdy blockage to keep our little pooch in the kitchen as needed. Excellent value for money and performs well. Easy to open and close, and the retracability is great!

Good product, was easy to fit to room. Liked having spare connectors so can move gate to other room very easily. Material of product could have been stronger.

Having had three children and five stair gates, this is by far the best.Loads of extra fittings, which is brilliant.Easy to use, and no lower horizontal bar to kick when walking down the stairs.

Nice gate, looks good. Only difficulty is where skirting board is involved it wasn’t possible for us to have the top and bottom catch level therefore there’s a slight pucker in the material as a result.

I bought this gate 7 months ago but from climbing over it, the hook snapped so I've ordered a new one! It came with spare parts which then made me realize the one I originally bought also came with spare parts! I'm so mad at myself for buying another without knowing it had the part I needed on the original box which I still have! But on the plus side I have another gate for another room, so it's a win and a loss in one! It's a fab gate and great for my living room/dining room as we have a wide frame where normal gates don't fit! But this does and love it!

I really wanted to love this gate, however it’s not fit for purpose. As soon as the puppy hits the bottom hook the gate comes open. It looks great but doesn’t stop the dog through it. I bought this gate as the reviews were good, I have not found this to be the case. It’s easy to install and looks great but doesn’t keep the puppy behind it.

Price was pretty good for what you get. Plenty of fixings and the gate seems excellent quality (time will tell) Easy to install with the templates and lock into place.

We’re using this for our cat’s “area.”First impression: great user friendly instructions.Sturdier than the wood gates.LOVE the lock feature on it so the kids can’t get in.We installed it just above the baseboard so that it sat flat with the wall. This allows plenty of space for the cats to go under, instead of jumping over.

Using as a dog gate at stairs. Very handy and easy to use.
