I absolutely love this journal - I'm 35 years old and idk why I got a "diary with a lock on it" but I did and it's gorgeous and I love it. The cover is thick and well made, the design is even more lovely in person. The pages are thick and the lock is simple and sturdy (though no one has tried to break into it that I know of). I bought a bunch of different kinds and returned all the rest except this one. The lock is sleek silver metal, which I really liked (most of the others I found were a brownish gold "rustic" or "vintage" vibe that totally missed the mark for me).Anyway - really nice journal, and lovely as well. And has just enough space in the clasp to slip a pen and has an attached satin "string" bookmark. The cover has double stitching around the edges and I've only had it a week or two but nothing is scratched or scraped in the design.Wow. I need to get another hobby besides notebooks. That took me a good 5 minutes to write. If you're still reading, good on you, you're really doing your research and hopefully you love this journal as much as I do.I really do other things besides journal, obsessively buy notebooks and write novel-length Amazon reviews. Really. I have a life and do stuff I swear. 😆

I'm honestly very impressed with this journal. It looks like something pulled out of a Victorian home. It's got a great weight to it. The size is perfect - not too big not too small. The look and feel of the leather is unmatched. The lock mechanism is seamless. 10/10 quality. Very happy with this purchase!

I love this journal! I haven't used it yet, but it is thick & sturdy. Doesn't come with a pen, but it does have a pen holder on the side. The setup was easy & comes with instructions to create code & also instructions on how to unlock if you forget. I won't get detailed on that here, incase someone is trying to get into someone's journal and looking for a "how to". . . Lol. This was given to me as a gift & I love it very much.

This is a great journal. I can transport it and take it a lot of places and bang it around accidentally and it still functions. The lock is great to keep unwanted folks from going through it.

This was a cute little diary for my 7 year old, good quality and the fact that it has a lock so her brother can’t access it, she loves it

Bought this for my 13yr old daughter after purchasing one for myself & falling in love with it. Beautiful diary, beautiful pages. Lock works well & is very easy to set up.

I would have given 5 stars but the postage was in the original box with a sticky label. Box arrived dirty. As it is a gift I now have to find another suitable box.

This daily diary is strong good quality and easy to carry around, love the colors, lots of pages, which can be replaced, fits in a handbag, the lock is strong also, i would recommend.

I love it that no one will get to open my book to read what all I have written.
