In defense of the straw, it clearly says "extra long", I just wasn't quite prepared for what that meant haha. They are, indeed, extra long. I bought these for a trip to Disney because Disney will either not give you any straw, or give you a paper straw which will, no doubt, disintegrate before your young child is done with their drink. So, after our first trip, I went prepared the next time. The family members I was with made fun of me at first... but when they started asking for straws because paper straws are horrendous, it wasn't so funny any more (yes, I felt like an over-prepared genius)! My kiddos liked that they were colorful and were plenty long to extend and twist into a "wiggle" shape (they don't hold shape very well but my kids were still pleased with them), I liked that they were individually wrapped which made it easy to toss some in a backpack each morning. Worked perfect for our trip and I'd 100% recommend that you purchase these for any trip to the Mouse House (or for any other use - I'll be using these daily at my house as well)
