Bought this for my little girl who is 2, she LOVES Sofia the first. She absolutely adored it when she laid eyes on it. As for quality it was pretty alright. Nothing heavy duty feeling but it did hold up a great fit against my little girl. She chewed on it, pulled on it, threw it and even tried pulling the gem out. The Gem just barely came out after having it for 5 months but it did go through war so I’ll give it that. And I can just glue the gem back on. I don’t know if it was worth the $10 I spent on it, as a first time buy it was but I don’t know if I’ll purchase it again. Just because it was on the cheaper side of quality. I’d pay $6 to buy it again but not $10. Definitely do give it a try though, it held up great against my 2 year old. And that’s saying something.

My 3 year old niece was more excited about this gift than any of the other expensive ones I got her for Christmas. The packaging doesn’t show or mention Sophia, but as soon as she opened it, she freaked out!! It is beautiful, has a more intricate design than the others I viewed, and she is totally convinced it is magical. Maybe it is... my son, on leave from the military, left the house to attend another party. A few minutes later, he pulled back in the driveway. My niece jumped for joy, saying she had wished my son would come back.. “AND HE DID!!” lol. Granted, he forgot his phone charger, but.. magic works in mysterious ways!

Very cute, is perfect for a young girl. It will get damaged (like scratches in the jewel, and the silver rubbing off of the back of the jewel), but it is play jewelry. My daughter loves it still! It's her amulet!

I would probably be rating this necklace higher if it wasn't advertised for a "first birthday", as it is not appropriate for a one-year-old. I purchased it for Disneybounding as Sofia the First and it is perfect for this purpose. The amulet itself looks pretty and like it was more expensive than the very low price, so I was quite pleased with it. The chain is a bit cheap-looking, but it can easily be replaced. After Disney I will probably put on something more durable and allow my four-year-old to have it for dress up.

Our 5 year old daughter loves this amulet, as she is a big fan of the Disney princess who wears one. It isn't flimsy, -- fairly durable. She can't do the clasp by herself, but I didn't expect her to be able to. After wearing it for a month, the chain is just beginning to tarnish a little, but the amulet still looks great. It's good enough quality for the price.
