Gigis Environmental Products Biodegradable Bar and Chain Oil

Used two quarts to clear backside of 250 ft. stone wall. Excellent lubrication with just enough tackifier. Working near a lake, it's piece of mind, to have biodegradable bar& chain oil. Highly recommend.

I really tried . I wanted to use a biodegradable oil. But as said in other reviews it has a very low viscosity and in fact really smoked up one of my chains. I tried it as a mix and still does work well. It could have been a result of a combination of other factors but just not gonna take the chance. Looks like a small company not going to return and wish them well -

Yes it seems to work fine. Very expensive though. Smells like deep fryer oil when the chain gets hot.I'll probably spend the same amount of $ next time and get a full gallon of the regular bar oil.

You don’t need name brand products to get the job done.

No tackifying qualities. Slings right off and does no good.

Need to secure container(top?). Leaked right through box. Quite a mess and unusable.

The order was weeks in arriving. My job couldn’t wait so had to move to another product. Seems ok for a bar and chain alternative.

Too expensive kitchen oil from French fries works just as good,
