Excellent case for my ipad this is my 2nd one
I brought one of these for my iPad last year and absolutely love it. With a years wear and tear it still looks like new and it’s so easy to use as there are no notches to fit the iPad onto when in landscape and it also looks great. This time I have purchased the dark green one (mine is black) for my partner as he and I like mine so much.Still the same price and real leather about half the price of another well known fruit.Buy one you won’t be disappointed, 5 stars

No auto shut off, read reviews closely. Will be returning.
Does not auto shut off, case was good but not functional. My old case used to function correctly so know my iPad is ok.

No auto screen shut off when cover is closed
The media could not be loaded. A beautifully made case for my iPad Air 3, which fitted perfectly and all the cutouts lined up.The only problem I do have with it, is that it has no magnet in the cover, to automatically switch the screen off when closed, and for the £30 asking price, I would have though this would have been a basic function. It states on the sellers page that it does have this function, so I have asked for some clarification. An elastic strap would also help keep the case closed, thus protecting the screen even more. The cover when opened, can be manipulated to make a basic stand in landscape, but unlike similar covers, there are no ridges on the inside cover to help support it and stop it from sliding down.Other than that, the case is solid and well made, and should stand up to the day to day knocks my iPad comes across.

Quality case
One of the best quality cases I’ve seen in some time. The materials used exude luxury and I can tell it will stand the rest of time. The case comes in a nice slide out box with a note inside that says some of the company profits go to charity. I like this idea and justifies the price tag a little more too.The plastic insert is a very solid and tactile soft feel plastic. It took a minute to ensure the iPad was inserted correctly, it didn't appear to be securely placed in there but I just realised it needed a bit of pressure to ensure the sides click around the iPad.The inside of the case has a luxurious suede feel that should be very safe against the screen. Closing the case also enables to close to lock feature.Access to the buttons is a little tricky if you don’t have tiny fingers. I have to push the leather part of the case away from the plastic insert in order to have enough room to press the buttons properly. Practice makes perfect though.I like that you can adjust the angle of the stand. I was a bit concerned that the iPad would slip flat because there are no grooves in the leather where it stands. This wasn’t the case however and the suede texture of the inside provided a good grip That didn’t slip even with some shaking of the table it was on.Overall this is a lovely case that I think will last some time. It is quite pricey but when the cheaper cases wear out within a few months you will end up spending about the same anyway.

Nice case
At the time of this review there isnt a price for my particular case on here but the others seem to be approximately £29.99. The saffiano leather is lovely as it doesnt scratch like other styles of leather. The colour is nice and my ipad fits in well. The quality does seem nice but im a little disappointed it doesnt have space for my apple pencil, if it did this would have been my daily case for my ipad. It would make a nice gift for someone though.

Tokyo iPad Case in Blue Leather - luxurious and safe
Mode branded Tokyo model leather iPad case, Nightfall Blue colour selected for review. This is a very firm iPad case that adds just the right amount of depth to an iPad and makes it comfortable to hold. The leather is quite fine and allows a good grip. Inside, the left is a felt-style covered interior with firm plastic to house the tablet itself. The felt lining is necessary to try and avoid any scratching of the tablet screen but customers should be aware that if cases such as this as bent to create a stand, then the felt lining will be in contact with whatever surface it rests on - so be sure to check there is no dust sticking to the felt before you close the case. The felt would protect the screen but dust could scratch it.This comes in a carefully designed presentation box which certainly gives the appearance of an expensive model. The case is opened by pulling a ribbon on the right side and the case itself is secured inside by an elastic belt that has to be cut in order to remove the case. The inside base of the case contains some important information from the company. A Danish company but the case is handcrafted by artisans in India. It needs to be noted that a portion of the sales of every case is returned to Kolkata to help pay for such things as the education of children. I found this to be a very desirable feature and one which Mode should be publishing more for the sales pages. It is quite easy to put an iPad inside the case but it is important for customers to check what model they own and order only the case model that is designed for their tablet. Order the wrong one and your tablet won't fit.Solid, nicely made, expensive looking, this is a lovely iPad case and the price of £29.99 at the time of this review is very acceptable, especially since this is an item made of grained leather.
