I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait to start the next one.I don't know where she will take us in book two,but I am looking forward to the journey. HAPPY READING EVERYONE.

It kept me on my toes. The plot was better than the sex scenes I think. Roman winds up winning a poker game with Lily as his prize. Her very insane family keeps on getting in the way. Action packed with great passion and angst for our couple but the sex scenes are short. I can understand why since they can be challenging to write and authors usually don’t want to take up too much of the story with sexual scenes. As long as the passion is there the story is saved.

Was a good enough read. Personally there was just some packing’s for me as a reader and the MCs frustrating to the point I almost stopped reading just makes it a bit eh for me. I dk if I’m going to put myself through the strife of book two yet but if I decide to I might have to skim a bit just to get story continuation.

This book hooks you from the first chapter and never lets go. It is so very GOOD! You couldn't ask for a better story. Yes, Lilly starts out naive but she catches up quickly. The author does not drag that out forever and a day, thank goodness. Lilly turns into the wife and queen Roman needs. It is beautiful watching them come together. Now, to watch them burn their enemies to the ground in book 2 😁.

I have been reading a lot of mafia and bratva stories, and they are all rather similar. The better ones are older girls and darker men. Stories like this with super young buttons who turn lusty and wanton are a little less satisfying but I do love how she gets the big burly bratva don to fall for her. I'm on to book two now and I'm glad to see some action. I was a bit scared for Roman at the end but since there is a book 2, I'm going to choose to believe they will be just fine and justice will be served. Two dead and one more pig left to gut.

Naomi West it is nice to meet you! This popped up on my suggested reads and I had to one click it. This book was so freaking good! Roman and Lily are quite the pair and together will go through quite the journey. Although this book leaves us on one heck of a cliffhanger, I cannot wait to dive into book two to get the answers I so desperately need. This book was so so good!

Riveting story of love conquering all powerful mob boss. Very good character development and trope development as well. Loved it! Can’t wait for next installment.

Enemies always lurking, Lily suffering danger and an ending to leave you wanting more. I loved this story and moved on to book 2.

One of the best novels from Naomi West. I couldn't stop reading once I started! Once you start a Naomi book you can't stop.

Boring a lot of sex and killing and glorifying some mafia heroes are all criminals, just a simple easy reading trash without any intelligent content.

What a finish to book one!!I'm in the edge of my seat and...to be continued in book two!!A cracker of a story here. I'm off to find out what happens so all I'm going to say is:Recommend you read this asap if you are a Naomi West fan...you won't be disappointed!
