Fantastic Training Tool for Young Snowboarders!
This harness trainer is a game-changer for teaching kids how to snowboard safely and confidently. The retractable leash is a brilliant feature that allows me to guide and support my child as they learn to balance and maneuver on the snowboard. The absorbent bungees provide just the right amount of resistance to help them stay upright and in control while preventing sudden falls.

Must have for teaching a youngster
This things is awesome. A must have for anyone teaching their kidddooo to snowboard or ski. My son loves the bag so much he wears it around the house. Buy a cloth sleeve and you can pull your kid around the house/grass to get them used to balancing. I wish I found this sooner! FYI Burton makes a sleeve for snowboards that would work great for kids using 80-90 CM boards.UPDATEI have brought my two year old a couple times using this and I swear everyone needs to invest in this to teach a kid to snowboard. My son is two and already is making turns, this leash also allows me to break his falls so when he does fall it isn’t painful. This bag also makes chairlifts a breeze and if your kids freezes up just grab the handle on the bag and you can snowboard down while holding him. Honestly these guys need to go on shark tank because this bag should be sold at ever mountain in the world. I had people stopping me all day asking about it. Buy it now, the price is worth it. The quality is amazing. Also buy the kids book that they made, my son loved it and definitely got him excited to snowboard, even comes with a back page to color which he brought with him.

Way better than the knockoffs
I use this harness for my 3-yr old. It's his first season on the slopes. We're starting him with snowboarding. The MDXONE is significantly more expensive than the cheap knock-off harnesses. I've tried those. The difference is vast.1. The handles of the MDXONE are significantly thicker and more durable. For the most part, especially as my kid was first starting to learn how to balance on his board, I really wasn't using the leash. I was standing right behind him and stabilizing him with the handles. I can pick my kid up with one hand, reposition him, save him from a spill, put him on the magic carpet or lift -- all with one hand thanks to the durability of these handles.2. Along the same lines, the harness system is way more comfortable than the ones you get on the knockoffs. The loops for my kids legs, the waist and chest straps all adjust so that there's no slack and no discomfort when I have to maneuver him around.3. The leash, and particularly the Y fork, is also just so much better designed. A lot of the knockoffs I've seen have a single point connection between the leash and the harness. The problem with that is that you will have no directional control over your child. If they don't know how to balance already, then the single connection point is only going to make things worse because you're going to compromise their posture. The Y fork allows you to have two points of connection. The MDXONE suggests a couple of different configurations but ultimately the point is that having two points of connection means I can control his angle of descent and his speed without compromising his posture.

Great Product, wish it didn’t have to be so expensive
The media could not be loaded. When bringing our son on his first few trails, he probably would have gone straight off the side of the trail into the woods if we didn’t have him harnessed. So that alone equals product satisfaction.I took off a star because the price point just seems high considering that you can get very similar ski/snowboard harnesses for 50-60% less money.I didn’t know anyone who used some of less expensive harnesses for snowboarders which is why I bit the bullet and went with this one.

Lifesaver
Best thing to buy for a little one learning to ski or board. Used this the entire season for my 4yo learning snowboarding and it's the perfect tool to control them, teach them how to control while keeping them safe (instead of barreling down the mountain).

Toddler Wrangler
I bought this for keeping my tanker of a toddler within range. He loves to explore everything his eyes take in at top speed, he runs from place to place touching everything. He loves to wear it but also wanted to hold the "leash" part himself. It's extremely sturdy quality & holds up to the pull of an angry toddler that wants to go the other way or lay down when that fails. I bought it for hiking because I wanted something I felt would hold his weight for the peace of mind while he learns how to navigate in nature. I want to cultivate his love of exploring while keeping him safe from harm. I know this is for skiing or snowboarding & maybe this coming winter I'll try it for him but for adventures in exploring & hiking it's an A+!

Works well
Works well, much better than other brands that don’t strap under the child’s legs. It would be better if you were able to lock the retractable leash (like you can with dog leashes haha). Not being able to lock it makes it a little tougher with really small children (my son is 2) that need a little help being held upright at times.

This totally saved my back
Bought this to teach my daughter snowboarding. The material is very strong. The best thing is I no longer needed to bend my back to help my daughter to get up after falling!

Makes learning snowboarding natural.
I’ve been snowboarding for 22 years, worked on the mountain, built snowboard parks, and I love snowboarding. So when my kids were born I wanted to introduce them to snowboarding. I started my kids snowboarding with out any harness, it was fun but very challenging to teach new skills. Finally when my oldest turned 3, I bought a MDXOne and it got so easy! Riding the chair lift became so easy and his progression sky rocketed. By the end of the first run he could do falling leaf. By the end of the second day he was connecting turns and hitting boxes! It takes a few runs to figure out the right technique. You need to keep consistent tension on the leash, I usually just do “falling leaf” behind my kid. I also recommend not telling your kid how to do things, just have him or her watch other snowboarders and say “ok go where ever you want”. When you’re a child no one breaks down every step teaching you to walk. When kids are this young, just let them figure it out. At least that’s how it’s worked out for my two boys! Yew!!

Back saver
The backpack handles make it easier and safer to pick up baby. Getting on and off the lift is helpful and the straps are all adjustable.Worked well for my daughter when she was 16 months and she's still using it now

Incontournable !
Achat incontournable !
