Would these gloves be good used in hot sweating weather

Oh yes. I use them in the philippines where our 2 seasons are really hot and really hot with rain. They are my go to glove and have lasted longer than leather or synthetic gloves. However they will still tear eventually

I washed mine a couple of times using saddle soap and used a leather conditioner, that you use for leather seats in a car, and it seems fine. Not sure if it says washable on the container, the package was thrown out a long time ago.
