The Mourning After

This book is absolutely amazing! I started reading it yesterday afternoon (Christmas) and finished it tonight- if it wasn't Christmas Day I would have finished it yesterday! Danielle is an amazing writer! The artistry of this novel is timeless. The romance, the suspense, the comedy, the hope, joy, laughter, and even the tears kept me turning the pages! I've never completed a book in 2 days (at least I don't remember)! I wish there was a part 2 or a sequel to this novel! I would definitely read it! The characters and the realism in this novel is beyond amazing! CONGRATULATIONS Danielle and keep allowing GOD to use you to write and inspire others! Did someone say AMAZING??? PHENOMENAL!!! I could not stop turning pages. The Mourning After is piercing; full of real-life issues that you deal with on a daily basis. It will convict you to tears while enlightening you with moments of laughter with each page you turn. Danielle Alysse you nailed your first novel debut. I briefly heard of the story line before its release. When it was over, I just wanted more. Very believable. I was right in there, feeling all the emotions of everything. Beautiful love story. I mourned and celebrated with them as I turned every page in anticipation to see how it all ended...only I wished it kept going. #awesomeness

It's rare to find a book that captivates every part of you. When you find that book you don't mind reading it over and over again. The Mourning After is that book! Not only did Danielle capture my imagination but she captured my heart through her writing. She is skilled and excellent in what she does. I am looking forward to more novels from her.

Wow I am happy everything worked out for Joni and Donovan. My heart was hurting for them. A really good love story.
