bought from Amazon 4 years ago for installation over our kitchen sink (behind a soffet, under a skylight--unusual location). Got a long track and cut it down with a hacksaw to a custom fit for our space and used three of these lights over the sink and adjacent counters. Works great. My designer orders this brand and recommended this specific light--a little less expensive here on Amazon. I use it with Halogen bulbs but I plan to buy another track and lights for a different room for use with LED bulbs, because this room tends to be hot. Looks clean and modern.

had these lights from 13 years ago - exposure to high temperatures and salt air in the Caribbean finally crumbled the plastic components so was very happy to find these identical replacements at a very low price!

I bought three of these track heads at State Electric in Christiansburg, Virginia. After about a year, one of them stopped working. Of course, I tried changing the bulb. Then I tried jiggling the fixture in the track. Finally I took the fixture off the track and I used my Fluke multimeter to test the continuity from the bulb connections to the track connections. One of them connected and the other didn't. Therefore, there's a bad connection somewhere inside the fixture. I figured I would just open it up and fix it. But they make these things so that you can NOT take them apart and service them. And it's a $47 track head!! I think for something this simple, if they're going to charge $47, the electrical connections inside should work. And of course you have no choice but to replace it with the same unit.
