This will make you forget all about his appearance in Marvel vs Capcom 3.
A few months ago, my daughter and I started collecting the Marvel Labbits. Sadly, it came to a halt when their accessories started to get lost (I suspect the cat), and we both kind of lost interest in getting more. When she saw the bigger ones though, she was all for collecting them, and I was in too. Ghost Rider was the first one she wanted, and I got it for one of her birthday presents yesterday. As soon as she opened it up, she carried it with her for most of the day, even at the park where it'd keep watch over her Minecraft bat while she played on the slides. I gotta hand it to Kidrobot- just when you think they can't do any better, they raise the bar again. Ghost Rider is a must-have if you're a fan of the character, collect Labbits, or just plain like having cool stuff in your home.Ghost Rider comes in a cardboard box with some great artwork on it. Normally I throw out the boxes for collectibles, but this is one we'll be keeping for sure. It's not a window box, so you can't see the figure before opening it up. Out of the box, Ghost Rider is sure to turn some heads. The clear orange fire wrapped around his head looks even better in-person. My favorite part is the bunny skull face. They made it look menacing while still keeping it cute. All the leather jacket pockets and zippers are there on the back of the figure, as well as a plug in his caboose with the text "DRAIN HERE" around it. There's no denying who this is if you're even a little bit familiar with the character. As far as negatives go, there's only one thing, and it's the same thing with any vinyl figure- stray marks. Anyone who's ever bought things like Vinylmations, Dunnys, or any kind of vinyl toy knows that every now and then, you'll get one with a mark on it; usually a scuff or weird spot of paint that ruins an otherwise perfect toy. Of course, my daughter's got a nice yellow mark right in the middle of its face, and a small scuff next to it. These are obviously production errors, and since they're mass produced, it's normal. It's still annoying, especially when it's somewhere so obvious. Luckily the marks aren't -that- bad, although I'm already having nightmares about when I order the big Venom Labbit in a few weeks. If you manage to find a store that carries these, ask if you can open the box (they're not sealed with tape or anything) to inspect it before buying if this kind of thing matters to you. Aside from this, I really don't have anything bad to say about Ghost Rider. It's an awesome Labbit that looks even better in the bigger size.Like I said, my daughter adores it, and I'm a big fan too. As much as I liked the smaller Marvel Labbits, I think these are the ones we'll be collecting the whole line of. I also gotta say that Kidrobot should try doing something with these. The first thing I thought of when I got to hold it was that it'd make a perfect piggy bank. It's the right shape, right size, and all it needs is a slot in the top (and to be hollow of course). As it is, this is a fantastic collectible and you should get it before the price skyrockets like the Deadpool one. Forget about the bad movies and pick up this cute little dude.
