I'm using them as planter saucers, the dinner plate works on a 10" planter that has little legs. Would not work on 10" flat bottom planter. Then I have some 8" planters that taper down to 6" and the salad plate will work perfectly. The raised edge will hold plenty of overflow from watering. Nice matte finish, understated, super thick and sturdy. I'm sure I'll be able to use the rest of the set at one time or another for picnics etc. Much less expensive than purchasing regular plant saucers! Very happy with the purchase, and especially happy I got them on a Warehouse deal. Thank you Amazon. UPDATE: corners make pour off of any excess water very neat - nice perk as a plant saucer.

Chose this set based on color and shape. Both are attractive. Only 'complaint' is that the tumblers are enormous so therefore rather cumbersome. Other than that I'm totally satisfied with purchase.

These are extremely durable, look great, and are my favorite dinnerware and they are plastic! I definitely plan on buying more, in other colors. Everyone that comes to my new home comments on how good they look. They are eye appealing and I don't have to worry about my little ones breaking these. I know it tells you they are not microwave safe. Please hede the warning! They get so freaking hot and one even melted a bit! Other than that, you could not ask for better! (ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE)

I am very happy with my purchase. I bought these bc my children are not the best with glass. They are very thick and look great. I ordered 2 sets of the service for 4 and unfortunately when I opened one of them the cup was broken. I contacted the manufacturer who informed me that they didn't have replacements in the warehouse at the moment and that I needed to contact the person I ordered them from. Luckily I ordered from Amazon, they responded within minutes of my request being sent. They immediately put in an order to send me a whole new set. It only took a day and a half for my package to arrive after sending my request. I am extremely happy with the customer service I receive when ordering from Amazon. I actually get upset when I find things cheaper somewhere else bc the ordering process is such a headache. I buy everything from Amazon and yet again I am extremely happy with the way everything is handled, and with the products I purchase.

These plates are pretty pricey and are large and Heavy. I got them to put in my RV because I loved the square shape. They are really too heavy For camping and not even microwave safe. They Also scratch and stain easily. I was really disappointed. Would not buy them again. Definitely overpaid, would have been happier with 50 cent plates from the dollar store.

The mint square plates are so pretty. But sadly they seem thin, cheap and chalky. My plates had chunks of melamine on the bottoms. There is no gloss so I see these staining and scratching pretty easily. If these were cheaper then I would rate higher, but for over $30 I am returning and buying .50 cents plates, bowls and cups from Wally.
