Amazing for technical improvement at any age!
I'm an adult player (late beginner/early intermediate) and some may think the exercises, meant to appeal to children, would be off-putting or beneath them, but this has really been so remarkable in helping me progress! I actually found the third book in the series at a thrift shop and gave it a shot and the very first page had two-hand, off-set (one hand begins on C, the other on E) scales, which had previously been difficult for me to coordinate without a lot of mental effort. For some reason, the simple act of offsetting the notes got me over the mental block of "I'm playing the same note on both hands so the hands should be doing the same things" and I've never had problems with scales again, even back on same notes at the same time. I was so impressed I went out and got the entire series and keep finding it help me with little technical problems again and again. Some similar exercises appear in each book, but with increased difficulty of some kind, which is really nice because it keeps developing and honing your ability with patterns you will use again and again in your music. I highly recommend this for anyone in their first few years of study!

An essential for young pianists
Every young pianist should have the Dozen a Day workbooks, which are neatly graded and help them work at a range of technical exercises in an entertaining and progressive way. I used this series myself, and then as a music teacher recommended it to my pupils.

This is a great face serum
This is a great face serum. It really works better than other products I have used I am on my second bottle. I use it with two other products Vitamin c renewal cream and Hyaluronic Acid. The combo is awesome!

Great warmups for beginner and even intermediate students
I use this at the beginning of some lessons - the student and I choose a new exercise for them to sight read and then they try it with the metronome. I recommend some students purchase their own copy as well.

Late Bloomer/Happy Student
As a little girl, I taught myself to read chord charts and melody lines from a "fakebook", but had no formal piano lessons. As a not-so-young adult, I began training and my teacher turned me on to the Dozen a Day books. Other techniques had corny little tunes to play, but these are real finger exercises. I felt my relationship to the keyboard changing almost immediately. They have now become part of my regular practicing and probably always will be. And when I was visiting my brother a couple years ago, I noticed the same books on his keyboard. He liked them as much as I did.

Very useful exercises
I have just started playing the piano again after 40 years and these exercises are wonderful. This book is really quite difficult but worth persevering with and I haven't got to the end yet but the exercises help enormously. Edna Mae Burnham is a name I had not heard of before but glad I have discovered her it makes a nice change from Czerny.
