Only 3 months of manufacturer warranty left
Most these laptop sellers here purchase these in bulk, open them up and install their own upgrades, then sell as upgraded. Mine had a few nicks in the plastic showing where they opened the case. But the manufacturer's warranty starts when they purchased it. Mine started in November of 2021 even though I just bought it, so I only have 3 months remaining.But do yourself a favor and upgrade the SSD yourself to a better model. I bought the 256GB laptop version and received a model WD PC SN530 SSD, basically a Western Digital Green which is bottom of the barrel in quality and lifetime. I bought a 1TB WD Blue which is better quality and will have a longer life then installed a fresh clean OS myself.Not really a bad system, the CPU is fast enough for all tasks, and with the NVMe SSD everything else runs fast. The screen is a bit on the week side, even though it's 1080p it has a poor side-angle view. Just about on par with any another similar priced system. Just don't expect a full 12 month manufacturer's warranty, unless you time it right and purchase right when the buyer bought their stock.

Absolute disaster
Completely stopped working and registering the memory and hard disk after just a month. Just a day after the window for returns shut.

HP Pavilion = High Performance!
This replaced my 2017 Pavilion. In the interim, this model has gotten significantly lighter and more secure! I'm running Windows 11™ with no problems and the processor speed and image quality are both excellent 👍.

Powerful but on the outside it feels poor quality
I bought it and it works correctly but on the outside the keys began to sink and feel deteriorated. This in just one year of use. If you are willing to put up with this and get used to the low quality of its materials, then go ahead and buy it.
