Bought this to replace the pick and pluck foam in some of my cases. Used a heated foam cutter to cutout shapes. I had tried coating the pick and pluck with flex seal but the existing cuts in the foam caused it to still come apart with use. This new foam is much more dense so should hold up much better. It appears to be similar to the foam you sometimes get in tool cases so should hold up for a long time. Will see in a few years of use.

The foam was ripped and torn in multiple places as was the plastic bag it was packaged in. The shipping box was in perfect condition so it was knowingly packaged and shipped with problems. I did not return it because it was more than enough foam for my application so I worked around the bad sections.

This product is up to 1/4" to 1/2" inch off the stated measurements. This is inaccurate and could be detrimental to what you need it for.
