Good kettle, but had a lot of trouble getting rid of the plastic taste. Take out the filter then add 2 large table spoons bicarb of soda in a half filled boiled kettle, left overnight. Had to do this twice. Rinse thoroughly and refill and boil 3 times. Now it's fine.

Nice Kettle
Very happy with purchase so far . It looks nice , pours well and the handle is easy to hold as it has a matt finish not shiny Itboils quite quickly and is not too noisy. It replaced an older Kenwood which also gave good service .
