My husband's heels are cracked and so rough that they have torn through our sheets in the past. Without being able to go for regular pedicure maintenance during COVID, his feet have seriously suffered, and not for lack of trying. He goes at those bad boys with a pumice stone every day in the shower. We were going to invest the money into a professional e-file that I could use on him, but those are pricey. I ordered this file as a surprise and he was really skeptical when I showed it to him, but after one use he is converted. His feet are already looking and feeling better. Finally, a heavy duty tool that is safe to use that even someone without a lot of experience with foot care can get the hang of. I'm really looking forward to seeing what this thing does when he soaks his feet in hot water and epsom salts!

I got this because I have such dry and callused heels. I have used so many different products and none of them compare to this! The VERY FIRST time I used this, I felt a difference. I used to have to wear socks to bed because my feet would snag on the sheets or comforter and it was so uncomfortable. After one time of using this, I didn’t have to wear my socks! So happy I purchased this!

Spectacular tool for callous. I am able to wear sandals again which is important in Phoenix where you can wear sandals/flip flops practically all year! Very gentle but gets the job done! I couldn’t believe it which is the reason for the 5 stars. It’s so much better than the battery operated foot grinders. I was going to bite the bullet and get one of those scary razor things because I don’t go to salons due to Covid. This thing doesn’t cut you though it gets rid of callous and I have no idea how but it works!

Edited to add: I threw it away. I felt like it caused more dryness and texture over time. Mr. Pumice blocks are better and give you the silky smooth feel you want.I have dry feet. I hate that I have to have something like this to make the winter bearable, but alas, I do. I dislike the plasticy-spongy type foot scrubbers as I find it difficult to believe that bacteria and other ickies do not grow on them. When I'm scrubbing off dead skin and exposing new skin, that's a major no no. So I decided to try one like this that I can disinfect by spraying with alcohol. For that reason, I like it.However, it is not as effective as those spongey, plasticy foot scrubbers. It took a good amount of work to get my skin to slough off and, even still, it will take a few showers to get my feet where they need to be. I will use this until it's no longer good, but I wouldn't repurchase.I also fear that this will rust, so do not keep it in the shower.

This is the absolute best foot file I've ever used, hands down. My feet have never looked or felt better. Some reviews mentioned that the file caused cuts. I did not find that to be true at all but I also find that you don't need to be aggressive when filing. I use both sides moderately and my feet feel like silk! It may be good to note that I've never used it on my dry feet. I have always used it after my feet soak in the tub if that helps anyone.
