Got these to replace a pair of no-name aftermarket hood struts for my 14 Mustang that wore out after 3 years. They fit perfect and with the 90lb rating hold the hood up quite securely, yet are not to strong to cause issues when closing hood.Perfect for my application. Hope they last another 3 years.

These were replacement struts for our 2006 Winnebago View motorhome side cargo doors. The originals failed after only 12 years (imagine that) and auto parts store replacements were difficult to find and expensive when you did. Found these on Amazon at about half the going price and decided that it was worth the chance.Installation was simple and took literally about 1 minute. Since I bought 2 and only need 1, I now have a spare for the future. If the product has a 12 year lifespan as did the OEM I probably won't need the spare. I'd sure buy these again and recommend them for anyone looking for a less expensive option.
