Everything fit fine. Everything went fine until about 20miles in we noticed the driver side wheel smoking. Pulled the brakes to find it self adjusted WAY to tight somehow. Readjusted and went on our way until it did it again. Turns out the drum is out of round or that may be from the heat. Backing plate keeps adjusting to tight with each pedal apply and eventually locking it up. I have contacted the seller. We will see how this works out. Being brakes I expected better.FYI. I am a certified master tech with a state inspection license and dexter / Lippert among other factory trained. So yes. I know how to install them.Update. The company made quick contact and said they would resend the left side components. We shall see how that goes.

Trailer had no brakes so I bought these as they automatically adjust, they come with all the hardware BUT the four nuts to hold the backing plate onto the axle flange, FYI they are SAE 7/16 fine thread, all other parts are there, bearings, seals, and lugnuts, for the 7 connection I bought a 8 ft with a waterproof junction box and a breakaway box with a chargable battery and charge indicator.

One of the grease caps was crushed. And the nuts & washers (for where the brake plate attaches to the spindle flange) were not included. Neither were the cotter pins! (wtf, all those things were in the listing photo).However, despite those relatively minor annoyances (I re-used the old hardware but had to buy new cotter pins), I'm still giving this brake set 5 stars because I think overall it's a great kit. All the parts looked to be very high quality and everything fit perfectly. I'd definitely buy them again.

Submitted request for assistance on how to do initial calibrating of self-adjusting electric breaks as they would not lock brakes at highest brake level setting of controller. Received no response. Still cannot use trailer after installation of four new hubs, bearings and brake units.

The brake kits are awesome. I was missing backplate hardware and seller quickly resolved the issue painlessly. If you’re looking to upgrade your trailer brakes, this is a great kit and easy to install.

Seem to be good quality. Easy to install. Didn't like that I had to supply nuts for backing plate studs. Installed on dropped axle.
